oakfield is going to have a pretty low seed for sectionals. but they are playing way better now than early in the year. can the hornets make a run?

I think Oakfield-Alabama has the ability to pull an upset or two in sectionals, but CC is loaded with good teams, Gananda, Lyons, Perry, Bloomfield & Avon are all tough teams. Lyons and Perry are tough teams year in and year out and in recent years have usually been the teams to beat, Gananda is having a great year and Avon has been up and down but will likely be a tough out come sectional time.

Perry has been disappointed this year, but I agree, can be dangerous down the stretch. Nevertheless, I think O-A can compete with them and Avon, with Avon and Gananda being favorites in this class.

If O-A can get production from the rest of their team in Sectionals, outside of Davis, they have the potential to go far.

davis gets a lot of credit for how good o-a is, but his supporting cast is very good. fisher and kirkum are potential all-stars and the team is very physical. also, coach merritt holly is pretty darn good. i like the hornets as a dark horse in that class.

I think its a little early to get on the O/A bandwagon. It is true the have a very good coach and a good cast of players but remember before they played the Division I teams they were 4 wins and 5 loses. They still need to play Elba, and ND and Wheatland-Chili who have both beaten them. Should be an interesting finish for Division II crown, even though ND has a two game lead.

OA has a good chance to do some damage. Lyons and Perry stink this year and once Davis comes back the Hornets will have a lot of weapons at their disposal. The kids like Call, Gerber, Riner and Seward are getting a lot better and will be even more dangerous once the best player in the league gets back. Coach Holly could hang his first banner this year.

ER is the team to beat in this class by far. They are awesome to watch. They will win sectionals in class CC, mark my words!!!:D

steuben county has been very successful in the past when it comes to winning sectional titles. C-S has won a lot of big games. Along with them C-G has been playing very well. They knocked off Lyons last year and tonight they beat a tough C-S team by 14.
