The families, friends and community of the Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District has suffered the worst tragedy it could ever imagine. Today, after a two day search, searchers found the scene of an automobile accident between the towns of Greenwood and Canisteo. Three J-T students and one former J-T student had been missing since Friday night after the J-T Homecoming dance and weekend. The four were found dead in the car after going off the road and hitting a bridge embankment. Of the perished were Tiara O'Dell, a captain on the girl's varsity soccer team, Jared Fry, a JV boys soccer player, David Cady and Joey Lubberts. All of the games scheduled for all of the J-T sports teams have been postponed for 10/1 and 10/2 and could extend longer into the week. Our hearts go out to the families and the community for this terrible loss.

I hope and pray all kids and adults will learn from this accident. I heard there could be major roster changes for J.T. and Canisteo-Greenwood girls soccer teams. Anybody else here about this.

The JT Lady Wildcats have proved to themselves that they are an amazing group of young ladies. They have dealt with the the loss of their dear teammate, and have held on tight to their dreams of bringing home a sectional title!

Good luck ladies! You are an inspiration to many! Stay strong!!!!
