Easily the best player in section 5 and possibly NYS is Elliot Marino, number 9 of Batavia. His ball skills are incredible and professional scouts clocked his shot at 55 mph. Its ridiculous, he'll take any player one on one and school them. Hands down best player in Section 5.

That's a pretty bold statement. There are a LOT of incredible players in Section V. Ever see Roden at Red Creek or Danizio at ER? Both of them are just insanely good. I don't doubt this guy is talented, I'm just saying that I don't know if you can really back that statement up. Especially since Batavia is 1-11 and Marino only has 1 goal and 1 assist for the year. I mean he's listed as defense, so I can understand why he doesn't have a lot of goals, but yeah... I don't know if that statement is going to hold up under scrutiny...

I'm not sure who is the best, but it would be better to list them out by position. How could you compare a keeper to a forward?

Ok mr. marino lets calm it down a bit there. no one on batavia should be mentioned in this thread. id say this is a contest between matt schueber of WT or krystian witchowski of AQ.

Why you gotta discriminate Batavia like that? Classless.

People I have seen this kid play. NASTY! He gets a ball on his foot you better start walking back to the center cause its an automatic goal. Plus he'll just straight up mess you up in the open field!

That's interesting, seeing as how he only has one goal all season. Must be he doesn't get the ball much, by your logic...

discriminate? no. looking at their record, a top player in section V would have his team at least with a winning record.

Hes hating on Batavia. I've seen this team play and they are not as bad as thier record indicates. They will be trouble come sections, mark my words
