i heard something about in lacrosse with the buses and your going to play teams that are local or something like that?

Schroder no absolutley not. Its going to be Pittsford and Fairport once again in Class A. Fairport lost all there players, pittsford still has some. All the juniors and sophomores that played on fairport just cruised as seniors did all. I believe pittsford has them this time around.

Fairport did not lose all of their players, but 2010 was a talented Senior class. I think they'll be back because they have some solid players returning at midfield and goal, and a great coaching staff. I also think Penfield will be a contender in class A as they were quite young last year. Pittsford will be there too but, they didn't have the depth or talent to hang with Fairport last year and they lost a good group especially on defense.

that is very true, but fairports senior class was stacked but they did not have more depth than Pittsford. They ran one midfield line and one defensive line. no subs. its just there starters were just that good. I know i played against them.

No team only runs one midfield line. If you played against them, it may have seemed like they never subbed because they had depth.

3 close defenders/attackmen is typically the rule in HS lax. No need for any more. Subbing a SSM for a LSM while not in possession or facing off.

they had one line of everything. no second lines, no second pole, no rotating attackmen or middies.

so when i was watching the fairport canandaigua game last year, what were those fairport players coming on and off the field doing? keeping their legs warm?

i believe we are having a misunderstanding. What i meant was that fairport last year had one offensive middy group and one defensive middy group. there were no subs for the offensive middies or defensive middies.

The goalie looked like a middie as he ran right down the middle of the field, shot and scored in the Class A finals.
