pittsford is playing solid football right now but they have to play a nearly perfect game to stay in this one... rush just has too many weapons

Pittsford just can't seem to be able to beat Ashton yet. Im pretty sure they've lost to Ashton's team more times in the last 3 years than they have to any other team combined. 4 losses in the last 3 years to a pretty good program is quite substantial. Pittsford has done a pretty good job in keeping him semi-quiet but still nothing has worked out obviously.
*Just a thought though...over the last few years there has been much hype over Broyld. He's won many games and put up some ridiculous numbers. In the end though he's failed to lead his team to a sectional championship. Now i'm not calling him a bad player by all means but great players get the job done on the big stage no matter what. Even if RH is heavily favored to win this one I still like Pittsfords chances in stealing this one and sending Ashton out with a heartbreak like he did to Pittsford in the quarterfinals two years ago when he was with Marshall.
GO PANTHERS!!

Ashton is hands down the best qb in setion v however he is far from a one man team, the best running back in setion v is Gause for Bishop Kearney, and that team has won one game all year in the connors ferris bowl .i guess what im trying to say is that one player cannot make a whole team.RH has a solid team across the board. good luck Panthers

Marshall two years ago also had a solid team across the board. A pretty decent line and one of the fastest players to come out of section 5 in the past couple years in Eddie Jackson and he still didn't get it done. I would also have to say last year he had more talent with clay harris as his back and still couldn't make it happen.
Even so. Championships are won on defense. Ashton doesn't play defense.
Can't wait for friday night

Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure he was a great player.
Has LeBron won an NBA championship? Not yet :)
It's easy to say great players need to win a championship to back up their reputation, but that could not be further from the truth. The same holds true for average to good players who happen to lead their teams to championships. They were in the right place at the right time, and everything went right.
All I'd like to see is the best team win, and go on to represent Section V vs Section VI. I think RH has the best chance to do that. And, they are FAR from one dimensional. So, the weight is not only on Broyld, but the rest of those seniors too.
Good Luck to both teams. Should be a good battle.
