Who cares what the score was last week, or how many times Bath has beaten Hornell, or which coach has more wins.

Lets talk about the Livco Teams and their task at hand, the matchups are tough. Who knows anything about the sec VI teams?

Hopefully nimrods will stop hijacking the forum and allow for serious discussion.

These were the previews coming into the season

Silver Creek

Nickname: Knights (6-3)

Coach: Sean Helmer, fifth season

Outlook: Third team All-NYS RB Zach Williams returns for the Black Knights, coming off a 900-plus season rushing. The Knights will also run Frank Sterlace, Andrew Lanphere and Zed Williams out of their misdirection offense. QB Cody Hehir throws a nice ball and has good speed. The entire OL will be new; 20 players went to the recent ECC camp.

Coach: Bob Ball, 11th season

Outlook: QB/LB Shane Smith, FB/DE Jordan Sherlock and C/DL Zach Mykula all started on the 2008 team that lost to Lackawanna in the Class B final. Smith returns after missing last season with a torn ACL. RB/S Alex Ippolito, OL/LB Nick Haskins and FL/DB Tyler Buckley return for their senior years. The JVs were 8-0.

Coach: Dick Diminuco, second season

Outlook: The Bulldogs return All-State players: third team RB Dakota Peel and fourth team QB Tyler Stoldt. Stoldt will throw to Peel, Nate Bailey, Adam Schwartz and Alex Blood. LB/TE Ryan Sosnowski has shined since a late-season call-up. Returning linemen are: Jake Wojtusiak, Nick Foss and Josh Chase. RB Justin Patterson will run the ball when Peel lines up at WR. JVs were 8-1.

Coach: John Faller, 25th season

Outlook: The Panthers take a two-year, 26-game winning streak into the season. Second team All-NYS DL Mikal Coleman is one of five returning starters. Fourth-team All-WNY Ralph Neasman will be joined in the backfield by Juwan Douglas. QB/DE Jordan Johnson can make all the throws. He's got plenty of targets with K.J. Zinermon, Kyle Luchey, Tim Oaks and Nick Spidell. The Panthers play all day games. The JVs were 7-0-1 last year.

Outlook: The Red Devils will play home games under lights for the first time in their history. Look for WR Billy Fitzhenry to help move the chains. RB/LB Mike Geiz should have an impact on both sides. Sean Wolf returns to play DE and some LB. Domenic Principale and Jacob Matteson will anchor the OL. Zach Lauricella returns at QB.
