They are being picked tonight. I don't know if the coaches are back from the meeting yet. I haven't heard from anybody.

I will. Bill Sutherland is getting me a copy as soon as he can. He is still trying to figure out the whole e-mail thing. You have to love those Section 5 legends!
/seriously. He's working on it. Sudsy is the best.
// I do know Jeff Cusmano was Coach of the Year and totally deserves it. He did a great job with Attica this year.

The regular season is over. These are regular season all-stars. And I'm sure most of the kids are happy for their teammates.
You sound like one of those guys that wants everybody to have a trophy and a kitten after each game.

Rock n Roll, your correct I believe, IT DOES hurt team chemistry and fan jealosy. Parents and kids will hold animosity towards others, it sucks, but its the truth. And wow some of those selections were a little off I would say..I know watching a few games that some of those HM selections were questionable to say the least???

Now, in fact, I love all-star teams — but after the season.
Go ask any coach what they think about all-star teams being handed out before the end of the season.
I'll give you 20 bucks if you can find one that's in sectionals that likes it.

I think this was one of the best all-star teams I've seen. I didn't see any favorites being played and kids that deserved it made it.
Great job by these kids.

Any team that would let a list of All-Stars effect the way they play probably isn't going far in sectionals anyway. I had the chance to talk to Mike Kaiser the other day and all he said about All-Stars was that he hoped to see his fellow senior teammates, Jason Burry, Ryan Nash and Dustin Keicher recognized. Not once did he mention whether or not he should be on the team. These kids are pulling for each other and happy to see their teammates recognized for their hard work.

No. Because when your on an 0-8 team, you are going to be on defense for A lot of plays. I bet Elba's defense was on the field for more snaps than any other defense in the league.
So he very well could have led the GR in tackles as well.

yeah for those who dont know Nick was ranked like in the top 10 in the state in tackles until his suspension. That is in large reason why Brent and Myself saw an increase in tackles was because we had to make alot more plays to make up for losing our two best players.
Brent did deserve though to be an HM he played very well.
