passing
Dominic Scavo - 65-110-2 - 1117 yds - 12 TD's
Rushing
Sam Stonerock - 155 - 1503 yds - 24 TD's
Scott McKibben - 99 - 1021 yds - 15 TD's
Dominic Scavo - 51 - 211 yds - 7TD's
Receiving
Jordan Schwartz - 33 - 705 yds - 12 TD's
**NOTE**
I am not denying any of the players on the Hornell red Raiders. Their Offensive and Defensive lines are key. As everyone knows the "O" line is a big part in the success of a rusher & QB. And the "D" line is also critical in stopping the run and for pressuring the QB & forcing turnovers. Hornell wouldn't have the success that they have had without these critical elements. Special Teams for Hornell is also Critical they have had many very good punts to keep their opponents well inside their own red zone. And have had a few key PR TD's and KO TD's. As a whole the entire team plays as a cohesive unit that understands what they have to do to win week by week.

Stonerock and McKibben have crazy numbers. It's one thing for one kid to go over a 1000 yards rushing, something very different to have two kids do it and average around 10 yards a carry in the process.

Those numbers are similar to two years ago when Bath made it to the State Semi-Finals, they had two 1,000 yard rushers in Cody Hutcheson & Andre McCloud, the biggest difference is they didn't have a passing threat like Dominic Scavo, Jake Kuver put up some solid rushing numbers but didn't have the passing yards and T.D's that Scavo has.........
2008-Andre McCloud Bath Rams
201 carries for 1,488 yards rushing 20 Touchdowns and six PAT's, averaged 7.5 yards a carry. Caught nine passes for 214 yards. Finished season with with 24 tackles and nine sacks. Also had one intereception and one fumble recovery.
2008-Cody Hutcheson Bath Rams
168 carries for 1,289 yards and 12 TD's for an average of 7.7 yards a carry. Posted 51 tackles and three INT's on defense.

I remember that team. I have watched the Hornell - Bath game for 4 years now. and each year I wonder who to look out for as a big play maker for the Rams. Each year they reload at the RB, FB positions as does Hornell.

Similar numbers, but the numbers this year are ridiculous. Think how good that duo was for Bath a few years ago, these guys are putting up close to 2.5 more yards a carry.

Until a few years ago before he moved, Stonerock played for one of Chenango Valley's neighboring districts, Susquehanna Valley. Had his family stayed SV might have made a playoff run, they just missed making the Section 4 playoffs this year.
The kid is certainly a beast! Great game today.

You're right Stonerock would have been an asset no matter where he played. We're just glad his family chose Hornell.

He (McKibben) was injured the last game of the regular season in the Bath game. He took the first round of sectionals off to heal. He had playing time in the sectional semi's through yesterdays game. I think Mastin wants to make sure that he is healthy. But outside of that I don't know. Stonerock has been a power for the team so it is clear why Mastin goes to him play after play.

It was a simple observation, that's all it was. My observation was the fact that most times a team has two 1,000 yard rushers they're successful. That's it
