because mt morris got destroyed by perry? well not destroyed, they kept up with them in the first half but just couldn't keep up in the second..

any team can beat any team. not every team is going to play their best every game. york had an off game against mt. morris and didnt have 2 players and one is probably their best player...they did beat cal mum.

beating calmum and beating perry are completely different. i'm not saying perry is way better, but Calmum is largely big guys. Perry is alllllll guards over playing all the way down the court. Beating calmum is winning a half court game. Beating Perry is winning an uptempo game. Just because you do one doesn't mean you can do the other.

teams like cal mum and letchworth though are a lot more consistent than guard heavy teams like perry. if perry is off at all in any game shooting they lose bottom line...big physical teams like letchworth and cal mum have better oppurtunities to score in their bad games because that they get most of their points from the paint which allows them to overcome deficits and let downs

im not not saying york is winning this game but i dont think the score will get too high.. 50's maybe.. and mt. morris is a very good team. one loss to that team doesnt mean anything...

calm down MM. If I was 6-1 and from MM, I would be excited to. But in reality, who have they beat?? This is the weakest schedule MM has ever scheduled. If they play last yrs schedule, they r lucky to go .500. Check it out with the AD if you know him. I am serious, they have neverrrrrrrrrrrrr had an easier schedule. The Lima christians and Webster christians 2 times each. They should have scheduled Caneserega twice and they might have got the #1 seed. My guess is MM goes 13-5 with that soft schedule. They definately lose to York the 2nd time around, they will not beat Perry, Keshequa or geneseo beats them, and Byron Bergon pulls it off. Heck MM might do well in sectionals but the smaller D is weaker this yr. This does not make them a great team just catching an easy yr. MM JV is also very very weak so u better hope this is the yr. the varsity r usually good for a good yr ever 7-10 yrs. this may be the time to shine. Good luck.

Believe it or not, MM is a good team for the way they play and move the ball. Their biggest downfall is consistency, like thier lose to Perry. The record reflects that they play well.

You are very negitive towards MM. I do not know why, for as you have stated before, they have not been good in awhile.

For the weak scheduled, all i have to say is they play other D teams. Not our fault they are bad. MM is still the smallest school in LCAA DIII. Even if they do loose to Perry and Keshequa, they will beat Geneseo.

PS: You never answered my question. What school do/did you goto?

Mt. Morris definitely plays under the radar. If it wasn't for this website, every team would go in there with the mentality that they are "Mt. i think 22 is a really good pick but i think campbell will play better tonight.. he plays up to his opponent very well so i think he will have the 22 and ricotta will have high teens.

did you watch the game??? take away the first 5 minutes of the game and its within 5 points. if you actually watched the game you would have saw how close it was. york won the 2nd courter and tied the last

Isn't that how it goes for most games?....It's still a blowout. That's why games are 4 quarters - ya gotta play every minute and limit runs by the opponent. Tying a quarter and winning one won't get it done usually and is definitely nothing to write home about. Ricotta's putting up monster numbers. Keep this up and he'll blow past every scoring record at Perry.

Yeah, Sounds about right. I bet Ricotta finishes with around 1658 points. If can continue to improve his game and works on creating his own shot with ball in hand. But the points record is not what is Petes best record, i would think 3 sectional championships with three mvps in that is better than the 1200ish point he has.

actually.. If it wasn't for Perry getting in foul trouble in the first quarter, York would have had like 2 or maybe 4 points in the first quarter! Perry dominated everything and there is nothing that anyone can say about that..

No one is talking trash, bud! Plain and simply put, Perry is a better team and it showed last night. Being able to hit shots from 3 is what a team of that size needs to do....they are also one of the quickest Perry teams I've seen. They really get out and run.

last year at sutherland the blue zoo called sutherland's superfans, "superfags" we got in no trouble whatsoever. no AD reported it, we didn't get called down or anything. ADs will only report it if it's about religion or race.

He actually said THE TEAM enjoyed it.. who cares about the ppl in the york section.. the York players liked gang green.. it was fun to be in that atmosphere. why dont you stick to cheering.. the only good thing about Avon Basketball is gang green...

The only thing good about avon basketball is gang green???You may want to retract that statement. Avon has had more success in the last 10 years than york ever will. When is the last sectional championship for york. I believe that the only times they won division 3 was before perry dropped down.

It doesn't matter if they "should" have played better.....they didn't.....and lost. And as a matter of fact Avon didn't play there best either. It was both teams first game, so think before you speak. Avon and York will never play each otehr again this season so really this subject does not matter.
