Congratulations to Brockport's Allyn Parrino, who was recently named National Female Scholar Athlete of the year:

2010 NJCAA first-team All-American soccer player and the Region III Player of the Year.

Also won a 2 NJCAA women's lacrosse titles. And most importantly, a 3.86 GPA.

ROCHESTER - Three members of the national-championship winning MCC women's lacrosse team have been named All-American by the NJCAA.

Sophomores Allyn Parrino (Brockport, NY/Brockport), Kaila Fox (Clifton Springs, NY/Midlakes), and Mollie Zimmerman (Fairport, NY/Fairport) were honored for helping lead the Tribunes to their second straight national title.

I've heard Allyn Parrino will play soccer but, I haven't heard where. Tough choice being an All American in 2 sports. :)
