How did this event go? How many players were able to attend? And of course, equally important is how many college coaches attended?

I saw what was a total of 22 players. There were 3-4 college coaches present tops (RIT, MCC & Brockport). Watched 1 coach leave 1 HR into it. None of the coaches ran the drills and rather those were run by a gentleman in golf attire. A lot and I mean A LOT of standing around. Saw no value in this event to Coaches or Players present.

Cant comment on the scouting camp, yes the college coach turnout did not seem to warrant the $100 registration fee so DD did not attend. However the tournament was very very well run. It was large 12u, 14u and 16u. The field facilities at both Henrietta and MCC were great and for the most part everything ran on time as scheduled. Two thumbs up on bringing this great event to Rochester. Lots of work and Excellent job !!!!

Doesn't seem worth the time or money if only 3-4 coaches were there? Where were the rest? In Rochester there are 7-8 colleges alone.

We saw a number of D-3 and D-2 coaches at the Bad Apples Showcase in Binghamton, NY this weekend along with 3 D-1 coaches which is right on for this event and the teams in attendance. I know Pennsbury had a great turn out D-1 - D-3 as they always do as well as at their camp which was Thursday. College coaches have budgets and time constraints and have to use their time wisely and go to the events with the most recruitable athletes. It is very difficult to do a 1st year camp nonetheless a recruiting camp and get much traction. Now if the feedback from the couple of coaches that did attend is that there were a lot of recruitable athletes in attendance and it was well run, I can tell you that word would travel fast which would bode well for the future. In speaking with a person who's daughter attended however I am hearing the exact opposite.
