I think Wade Fuller is the best player in class D. Before he led his team in scoreing but did not really but up big numbers because of all the talent around him. But this year i think he will be more of a score than in the past since he is the only remaining starter from last year.
He easily has the best defence for any player in class D. There is no guard this kid cant shut down.

Different position, but I'd say Jaanai Beckford is the best overall player in class D. He can guard just about anyone on the court, block shots, rebound, get steals and score. I'd bet he has a couple of quadruple doubles this year.

I have to agree with Drew here. Fuller is an awesome player and probably the best at his position but Beckford is most likely the best Class D player.
I think Fuller will get a lot of easy layups this year because of a tight defence.
If Wade could shoot a little better he would be unstoppable.

Fuller is not as good as everyone thinks.
When he dribbles the ball never even touches his left hand and in the games i have seen he cant shoot very good.
I really think people overrate him.

I'll agree with you on the shooting. He has developed a little better mid-range jumper but still needs to work on his shot. His dribbling is pretty good but the part that makes him great is his defence. He is lightning quick with his feet and with his hands. He is a very crafty player.
I already said that Beckford is probably the best overall player in Class D, does anyone else have other nominations?

BBALLFAN00 If you say he doesnt dribble with his left hand you have never watched Fuller play or you are just making up stuff. It doesnt matter what hand he is dribbling with they are both the same.
I will agree with you on his shooting. He has struggled shooting the ball from behind the arc.
But this year i think he will be a decent 3 point shooter.
And he has always been a very good mid range shooter.
So dont just start saying things about these players that aren't True.
Go and Watch the games and actually learn about the players before you Make up Stuff.
The thing that makes Fuller such a special player is his ability to get to the rim and His Defence.
The reason his defence is so good is he makes everybody else on the court look slow no matter who they are.
And he is a strong player. you are not going to find a stronger point guard then this kid. No other guard is going to push this kid around. Matt Newmam from cambell was a lot bigger couldn't even out play this kid and Fuller was only a sophomore and two years later he is that much better. Most people think he is small and fast and that is why his defence is so good. They are only half right it is because he is fast and strong.

No doubt these are two of the best players in the class, it'd be a good championship game between Northstar and Prattsburg, if Fuller has enough of a supporting cast... What about the D schools in Allegany County? Any players from there that could stand to be mentioned with these guys...?

I'm pretty sure that when Newman was a senior, Campbell came to prattsburgh and whooped on them, how did Newman not out play Fuller

It's probably best just to say in our opinions the best two players in Class D are Wade Fuller and Jaanai Beckford, but how can you honestly compare the two against each other when Fuller is 5'8" 160 lbs & Beckford is 6'4" 215 lbs? Fuller is a Point Guard and Beckford a Center. The other intangibles make them even in the fact that they are both very important players for their respective teams. Both teams are better off with them on the floor. But honestly theres no fair way to compare the two players.

By the way, in this discussion we forgot Brendan Costello from Geneva DeSales. He very well could be the POY of the year this year.

I will have to agree with you he has a very good chance of winning POY because he is going to put up big numbers.
But do u think he could out play Fuller if they went head to head.

Kevin Francis is a great player in class DD. As a point guard he is solid

Bochicchio played AAU with wolfley and Woodworth over the summer. He is going to be a big presence on the court for Notre Dame during the season.

All point guards are supposed to be good to they play against Fuller.
We will see this weekend when Praattsburgh plays BND.
