LeRoy will win 33-6 ......pembroke isnt playing in there league anymore....Leroy beat BK by alot and pembroke was lucky to beat them...and attica defense held Pembroke to zero and i think LeRoy is alittle better then them....Go with LeRoy it is there time of year..LeRoy steps up in big games Hornell knows about that!!!

As nice as it would be to send some other team to represent Sec V once in a while, it's not happening, not this year. LeRoy wins 28-7.

Pembroke has no chance, they aren't the same team without the leadership of Dave Urban.

If i recall pembroke also had about 5 or 6 turnovers that game. Bk against leroy passed too much and if they gave forte the ball more, the game would have been much closer. when they gave him the ball near the end, he couldn't be stopped. Bonaquisti might have a concussion and probably won't play this week. So i say Pembroke wins if they play perfect football and can run the ball.

Urban meant a lot to the Dragons, but I think Jared Dent is an awesome leader and a great player. What he lacks in size he makes up for with his effort. He had like 20 tackles (legit) against Oakfield in that win.
There is no doubt that Le Roy has the size, experience and athletic advantage, but I think this game should be close because Pembroke is very scrappy.
And as much hype as Meek gets for his passing skills and as much as some of the other QBs LE Roy has faced are decent, none have the play making ability McKenrick has.
Le Roy's big guys are easily the best I've seen all year and has a huge advantage over Pembroke's line. Nothing against the Pembroke guys, Le Roy is just sick up front. I expect - shocking - to see Le Roy run the ball a lot behind those guys.
If Bonacquisti doesn't' play it will hurt Le Roy a lot. I don't know if he will play because he's had several concussions now and you have to make sure he is okay for life after football.

Here's the bottom line to this game — Pembroke cannot throw the ball and Le Roy is awesome at stopping the run. Look for Le Roy's line to DOMINATE.
Pembroke hasn't played a team all year like Le Roy, big, physical and tough up front.
They might be able to keep it close early, but Le Roy will wear them down for sure.
Le Roy 35, Pembroke 7.

#33 is fine...he took himself out on his own. You do not need to be throwing medical judgment about the place...stick to sportswriting doc

ha ha. i'm just sayin, too many concussions can be a serious thing. brady is a tough competitor and i'm sure he'll want to be out there. but i also know that if it isn't safe, he won't be.
and for the record, i worked in a hospital as an x-ray tech assistant for two years before going to the paper. i know a few medical things. i am pretty good at reading x-rays, but i wouldn't let me do brain surgery.

i dont think that leroy will destroy them but i think that they will win. the thing is pembroke just has not played anyone as good as..... well hornell. i think that they will come to play but the leroy defense will do their job.
leroy 21 pembroke 7

The way I see it LeRoy held Zapata to 90 yards. As great as Pembroke's run-and-gun offense is, they do not come close to having a player of Zapata's caliber.

would destroy either of these teams. They were just starting to hit their stride.

Hitting their stride?
Three straight losses to end the season doesn't really make me think of a team hitting its stride.
Lets face it. Losing to Le Roy was the end of Cal-Mum's season.

jammer, losing three straight does not consist of hitting their stride.

Leroy should win this game but I do not think as easily as everyone is saying. Pembroke has good speed on their line and can get off the ball quick. I do think their lack of size may cost them because Leroy has some big boys. Also if anyone can contain McKendrick it will be Leroy and their great speed. Pembroke will compete with them and not give up.

Wasn't able to make it out to this one but the final score was 14-9 LeRoy. Sounds like I missed a good one.
