Pal-Mac recently dealt their first loss of the season by Mynderse and Geneva their second.

Predictions and comments?

I give Geneva the slight edge in this one. Pal-Mac has lost two straight and Geneva is playing at home where they are undefeated. Should be a good one however. Pal-Mac has a senior laden team with a lot of experience. It will be interesting to see how they handle the junior combo of Sweeney/Donahue for Geneva. Key for me will be Terrell Johnson for Geneva. Pal-Mac has nobody to handle him in the paint if he comes to play and gets some touches.

Pal-Mac upsets by 3 points, even though they should have won by more. They dominated up and down the court, allowing most of the points to get scored in the last couple minutes of the fourth quarter attempting to avoid fouling. I think Pal-Mac will finally get the credit they deserve in the league, since they have beat both "favorite" teams Wayne and Geneva.

Let's not forget Geneva was without Sweeney the last 2:30 minutes of 3rd qtr and first 3:00 minutes of 4th qtr due to cut above his eye. That makes a difference....not to mention one of Genevas guards didn't play because of injury....just saying

Pal-Mac was beating Geneva at the end of every quarter with or without Sweeney. If I recall correctly Geneva scored the first point and that was the only lead they had the whole game.

Do not agree about the comment about sweeney because pal-mac was pulling away with sweeney in the game in the third quarter. but this hurts Geneva becase it now gives them three loses in the league are they out now??

Considering Mynderse still has zero, it looke like they are out. However, Geneva is a very dangerous group who I think will make some noise at sectional time.

Not sure this was an upset. I guess if you look at posts on here, maybe, but Pal Mac was ahead in the league standings and beat one of the two teams that beat Geneva. It's been hard to pick Pal Mac in some of these games because of how close they have played the teams in the bottom of the league.

I don't think anyone can really question they are the second best team in the league and have a shot at winning a league title.

How did Johnson play? I know he missed some time earlier in the season with injuries.

Geneva and Wayne both play in class A, it will be hard for them to make too much noise IMO.

Pal Mac has a chance in B1 but I dont think they can hang with Charlotte.

Mynderse is in the best posistion to win sectionals in B2, of the teams in FLE.

I don't see mynderse losing any games until after sectionals. Yes, both Geneva and pal mac have come close but the mynderse coach knows what to do to make sure they finish the game with the most points.
