Yeah Williams will be real good. Look out for David Klecker of Pembromke next year at QB, he's good. Ruddock of Attica and Dibble of Pembroke are gonna be good.

If ND can find someone to throw him the ball, Kevin Francis will be an unbelievable receiver during his senior year. He is an elusive kid who can outrun anyone you throw at him.

He's the real deal. His brothers were great players too - hard core football all the way! I have a lot of respect for them all, great bunch of boys! Best of luck Chris for your senior year of ball - knock em dead!

there are a couple of kids that from watching are primed for great years next year, Dustin Dillard from C-C, and Christian Boley from Brockport. Look for big years from them next year.

Chris Williams is as good or better then his brother Eric. And for John he was very tough but was coached by different coaches who were not as disciplined, as Dowd and his staff. If you talk to John he will tell you, if he was coached by the new staff mostly for defense that his defense would of been much better.

Schildwaiser (sp?) was usually the guy doing mop-up duty at QB this year so I would expect him to start but my daughter told me that the general buzz around ND is L'il Bo has the potential to be everything his brother was. Doesn't have his brother's size or arm but perhaps a better all-around athlete.
Kevin Francis is definitely a marque-type player, he makes everyone else around him better but someone else to keep an eye on is Mike Pratt. Started every game this year as a freshman & he just looks like a player.
I can't define what it is that I see but let me give you an example. I'm not comparing him talent-wise to Karl Geise, but the first game I saw Karl play he stood out becasue he looked like a player and carried himself like a player.
He obviously knew what his assignments were and if he wasn't usually the best player on the field ("O" or "D") at any given moment then was somewhere in the top 2 or 3.
I get the same feeling watching Mike Pratt play, he finishes his runs, blocks well & has excellent hands and he's always around the ball on defnese.

Watch out for Craig Campbell too, he was a state all-star as a sophomore along with Williams, but he did not play last year. But watch out GR, he's gonna come back with something to prove during his senior season. Noah Seward is going to be just as much, if not more of a threat from the tight end position than Babcock from Pembroke, and he made GR all-stars from defensive end, so i have a feeling some of these other GR quarterbacks are gonna become pretty used to laying on their backs this season. And all you really have to say is Chris Williams, senior year, and that should scare you right there. And dont forget about A.J. Kehlenbeck, he had to adjust to playing quarterback at the varsity level fairly quickly, and he did a very nice job. We have many other seniors who were GR all-stars last year and will be looking to add to that this year. This season we have a special team, and with the coaching of the football mastermind, Coach Dowd, OA could be looking at a sectional title run, and possibly more.

Just trowin out some names thats all so ER haters dont jump down my throat or anything please. But neal Dotterer has started every game as QB sense he was a sophmore. And got Player of the year. Also on that ER team keep your eyes open for Marshal Cowey from ER (DE and OL) who was also in the running for player of the year. East Rochester should have a decent team next year. Good Luck to all teams.

Attica's RB Ruddock should have a big year, but we'll have to wait and see about their line, who is losing 5 starters. They should contend because they got the core of their undefeateed JV team from two years ago plus about 5 other players that were on varsity at that time.

Pembroke will be just as lethal next year as they were next year. Mike and Jared will be impossible to replace, but our line will be the biggest, most athletic, and talented group that we've had in a while. Returning 4 of 6 starting lineman and putting a 6'2" 220lb-er and a 5'10" 220lb-er from jayvees in the remaining spots, our running backs will have huge holes to run through. Dibble is a hard runner, Kleckler throws a great ball, and two players from jv, Josh Phillips and Anthony Bosse, will fill out change of pace back and fullback, respectively. Not to mention, Drew Wright, whose brother was an eddie Meath All-Star @ Batavia, will be a great target for Kleckler. He'll also compliment this huge, sure-handed TE they have. His name escapes me....hah

I agree with RepTheV. ND next year will be stacked. Next years team brings to the table a lot of talent and team chemistry. Along with Francis, Schildwaster, Houseknecht, Lair, and Pratt, many players who were unable to prove themselves this year will step up for the Irish. With an expected line of Juniors Cam MacDonald and Tommy Rapone and Seniors Justin Shenck, Craig Houseknecht, Brad Cohen, and Rick Lair at TE, the very talented backs (likely Francis and Pratt) will have plenty of holes to run in. Look for the passing game to step down a notch due to uncertainties at the QB position. This year's team will be more Run-Balanced, but will still be a competetor in the GR League.

this is gunna sound pompous coming from me, but its true and i dont mean it in that way...but qb is going to be a lot bigger issue than everyone thinks for nd...no one besides myself has taken a snap in the last 3 yrs...the mental aspect of the game is just as important as the physical, and i called a lot of audibles and my own plays. That being said, if schillie does move to qb, look for more option...a lot more option...
