should be a big year for genesee region softball. again, the league has some great pitching.
cary from pembroke, bostwick from oakfield and schwartzmeyer from elba are all great pitchers.
just curious to see who people think is the best of the group.

I feel Bostwick is the top player, but Pembroke is the top team.

Cary and Schwartzmeyer led their teams to sectional titles, Bostwick has not. Any other top pitchers in the area to watch for?

from Cal-Mum. They will battle Pembroke for the title this year.

Warsaw Tigers have a sophomore pitcher Kelly Spear that is starting her third year in varsity with a 33-10 record. But she has a pretty complete team backing her up. Everyone of the starters have played travel ball. Seven are on teams this year in Buffalo and Rochester. If Spear has a bad inning she has a team with one of the bet offenses in section V. they are starting to prove that already. With wins over med speed pitching Hornell 11-4 and fast speed pitcher at Northstar.But Spear is also one of the best sophomore pitchers in section V. The tough thing is Warsaw is in the same class a Bolivar Richburg. BR might have a better pitcher but Warsaw has the better all around team.
