What teams do you think are going to pop up and suprise some people this year with the way they play... who should teams be aware of and not take lightly????

Canaseraga-Although J-T handled them rather easily I think they could pull an upset or too, T.J Dunning is the type of player that could erupt for 40 points and carry his team, their main problem is lack of numbers they only have 8 players on their roster.

Addison-another team flying under the radar so to speak, they're not getting alot of press but have enough players back where they could make some noise, Mike Strong, Bryan Dann & Colt Mackowiec are all quality players and Addison could "Shock" a few people.

Hammondsport-Jake Clarkson is an explosive player who can carry his team, Derek Baroody is agressive on the boards and pretty solid down low, if a few other players emerge and start contributing consistently then H-Port might surprise some people.

Don't let this team fool you. They have the potential to shoot the lights out on any given night. Dunning can penetrate and drop one in the key and can shoot from distance. Spike can shoot and use his body down low to get an easy two and there are a couple others that can shoot the three. They shot very well in the first half with their game with J-T and were down maybe about 10 I think at half. J-T was disciplining a couple key players in that game by giving minimal playing time because they decided to skip a practice but Canaseraga looked like a dangerous team. No one better take them lightly.

I do not really think Addison is that big of an under dog team.

on the other hand Hammondsport and Canaseraga are. Canaseraga only has 8 players but u can not underestimate them. Hammondsport only has two seniors but a really good team that is young and will be consistant the next few years. People underestimate these teams because of there bad seasons last year but they should not be taken lightly.

I think Addison will be the suprise team, they have 5 starters with experience and a 6th and 7th man who can rebound and shoot the outside shot. Once they figure how to click, I think they will come back strong.

I couldn't agree more that Addison is definitely the team to watch when it comes to the teams ranked from 5-11 in the league. They have some weapons, and if they can bring their aggressiveness and their shooting ability together on the same night they could be dangerous.

How many years are people going to say Hammondsport is going to be a surprise team? Remember a couple of years ago, when they were not only going to win the county tournament, but sectionals as well? They have some talent, but......

I agree we do hear that way to much about hammondsport but for me with hport its all whether they put it together or not..i mean look at this years team they have a bunch of talented guys but they cant quite seem to all be on the same page....they turn the ball over way to much and have a second half problem...if you look at their first half scores they are in almost all of their games....Clyde-savanah they were up by 2 lost by 15....CG they were tied lost by 27...dundee down by around ten both times lost by 12 once lost by 29 the other...for this team its more about putting 4 good quarters of basketball together...they get a couple then come out of the locker room flat and make stupid turnovers and get outscored huge in the third quarter...that team needs to figure out whats going on if they want to be a contender they have the talent they just need to put it all together
