i think babcock COULD stop wolfley, but i just don't see it happening. wolf had a triple double against holley, yes i am aware that it is holley, and i think he may be a little more motivated after his anemic performance against midlakes

Babcock can't stop wolfley. Wolfley is like 2 inches taller and five times stronger.

I think Pembroke would be better off matching up Wolfely with Wright. Wright could follow Wolfley all over the court and tire him out and deny him the ball better than Babcock could. Right????

Alright, well then I'll go off about it.

Attica has Derek Wolfley, possible the best player in the GR League. But they have no supporting cast. Yeah certain players have played well the past few games but that won't last the whole season. Come sectional time Attica will have trouble competing with anyone. They lack depth.

I guess I'll have to give thanks to all you Attica fans looking to stir something up between Pembroke and Attica. User "Ken Babcock" is not me (but a very creative, convincing username) and the only thing I'll guarantee is a hard fought game tomorrow. So Hilly, no you cannot "quote" me on saying that. I have the utmost respect for Derek and all of the Attica players, as well as anyone in the GR. It's very much below me to throw out my integrity just to cause animosity.

By the way, that whole 6-0 thing is getting pretty old. You guys worked hard for that win, but it's basketball season, and I refuse to bring up Geneva. ;)

Ok, well one of the biggest fan rivalries over the past few years is going to be reignited tomorrow night when oakfield travels out to byron-bergen.. the two schools have some history in the running sports, but nobody cares about running, so i'll move on. This is a rivalry which has included the introduction of the jokefield jokers, a near arrest of an oa student, an anthony molaro buzzer beater, a drive-by shooting, the near totaling of an oakfield students car, and a broken oakfield jaw. This rivalry contains is not nearly as intense on the basketball court as it is in the stands. the byron bergen fans and the oakfield alabama fans. dressed for war. this will be an intense game with a very strong atmosphere.

oakfield beat byron bergen tonight. it wasn't pretty. they're just having trouble closing out games. at one point in the 4th quarter they were up 15, and they were only up 4 at one point. the crazies were good. byron bergen didn't shoot anybody this time. it was a clean rivalry except for a couple things. one of the ref's was very good, the other was quite the opposite.

i agree. they are a very solid team, and i feel they are just below elba as far as playing ability
