I don't know how many people on this site follow wrestling, but has anybody seen how well Batavia has been doing.
The team is 1-0 in the league and 5-7 overall, with most of those losses coming in a very good tournament. Two wrestlers on the team are still undefeated (I believe) and this is the best Batavia team in a long time.
Has Batavia ever won a sectional title in wrestling? Can they win one this year?

Batavia is good but Section V is loaded with so much wrestling talent it's hard for me to picture them winning sectionals.

I'm not sure what schools will be in Batavia's class because wrestling sectionals are goofy. They have like Class AAAA, AAA, AA, A, BBBB, BBB, BB and B (or something like that).

I wrote that story. I was amazed because Holley really is amazing at wrestling. I think Rick Stewart is doing a great job and Batavia could content for a sectional title. If only I could figure out what schools are in Batavia's class.

Check out www.armdrag.com the best wrestling site in NY state.;) It has everything wrestling. The have the sectional classifications listed there.

i often go to that site. i'll have to look at classifications ... i go for results typically

Nobody in our school follows wrestling, sad actually because I DO know that they are good now. they may even get less publicity than our track team
