what are your thoughts on the 14 point victory of top ranked campbell by canisteo, are they the new team to beat?

Personally, I dont think that Canisteo will post a further threat. I wasn't at the game, but I know that the games are always intense due to the great rivalry that goes on. I think that C-G is starting to pull things together, but I dont think that they are too much of a threat for the County title

What makes you think they are not a contender? They played a tough game with Prattsburg at p'burg and then they beat C-S convincingly. J-T is the next team that will compete for the title, and they have to play C-G at Canisteo. I think your wrong. They will compete for the title!

C-G beats C-S by 14 and it is beating them convincingly but Prattsburgh beats C-G by 15 and it was a tough game? I think that C-G is a contender but I still think Prattsburgh is the front runner. C-S and J-T are the other contenders and I see J-T as more of a threat then C-G.

CG shot 72% from the 3-point area against CS which is pretty unconscience if you as me. If you remember correctly CG gave CS their last league loss when CG came to CS and beat CS down but CS came back in Counties and BLEW them away. CG is a team that pulled the "upset" in an what has become an intense rivalry. If these two teams meet in counties it will be a different story and CG isn't a contender YET. 1) Prattsburgh 2)CS 3)JT...those are the teams to beat and guarentee 2 of the three will be playing for the league title.
By the way CG beats CS by 14 and thats "convincing" but CG losing to Prattsburgh by 15 is "close"?

my wording may have been a little off, but I still think that C-G has a good chance at beating J-T. They haven't lost to J-T in five years. Granted C-S hadn't lost to anyone in 5 or 6 years either, and that happened. Let's see how C-S does in Prattsburg this year, I think we will see a similar result to the C-S and C-G game.

Prattsburgh is a very tough place to play but CS has had great success there in recent years but trouble with them at home...if that makes any sense. But the way CS has been playing it is going to be a tough game but don't see it being no 15 pt game.

C-G didn't turn the ball over and they executed their game plan. It's not an upset just because they beat Campbell, as we've seen this year C-S is not the same type of team they've had in the past. C-G is a contender, but I think it all runs through Prattsburgh at this point.

Coming from a C-S fan that is very open minded thinking. I wish there were more people that could see things objectively instead of thinking their team is obviously the best. There have been some interesting posts from kids from Hammondsport and Canaserega on here.

I think C S has some personnel problems. I seen the Wright kid get sent to the locker room in a loss to Fillmore at the Houghton Classic. He was arguing with Coach Button after getting pulled at the beginning of the 2 qtr

to the whole story with what happened there. Not going to get into it because it's not my place, but there was a lot more to it than that.

Regardless of what the real story is, it is always tough for some of the tougher competitors who are used to winning when suddenly they are slumping. I'm not close enough to the situation to know what is going on if anything. I'll just have to see how they handle themselves on the court against Prattsburgh. If they come in and play well then they still need to be considered a threat to win the league. I suspect that they will play well.

no offense but truthfully even if there is more to it a player should not argue with their coach....their coach makes the decisions whether the player likes it or not.. you need to watch your tongue with your coach...do what he says and just keep your mouth shut about it...its way easier then complaining or arguing over it trust me...because if you argue your gonna end up on the bench a lot more then those really competitive guys would like to be

I totally agree that if you argue with your coach you should sit, thats how it was in the old days when coaches had some kahunas to actually punish players for such acts.At the c-g vs c-s game two players were bickering at each other for c-s the whole 2nd half which did not help they,re cause and they were supposed to be leaders.
