I think Hammondsport should be ranked. They have a good record and have beaten ranked J-T and C-G.

They will be now, but the rankings go out on Sunday's so neither of their wins this week were factored in, next week they should be all set, I'll see to that personally.

I don't know anything about the bottom three schools in the new Class D rankings but I find it hard to believe that teams with 7, 6, and 5 losses are state ranked. Are these teams that play other state ranked schools? Maybe they play a lot of higher classes? Anyone know?

Not sure about Fort Edward-2 & New Hartford-2 but I am familiar with Florida-9 or S.S Seward as they are also known as, there's some Former Avoca residents currently there and one of them plays on the team, they play alot of C, & B schools and I believe one of their losses is a two point loss to a good Class A school. So that justifies their ranking

Hammondsport comes in at #13 which is good, I knew that'd happen

Where are you getting your state rankings from? They don't match up at all with the state rankings posted on Section4hoops.com. some of the teams that you mention at the top are not even in the top 15 or honorable mention. Please explain to me what i am missing here?

Just and addition to your earlier mention. Actually 4 in the top twenty if you count Class C C-G.
I don't know if SCL has ever had 4 state ranked teams before. WOW!!!

interesting to note that there are no Section V teams ranked in Class B in both Boys and Girls polls this week, what's up with the Section V class B teams this year?

If you look at who the B teams have to play, it's not that surprising. I know with the boys at least, we will have teams that are close to .500 winning sectionals and making a good run at states (Bishop Kearney). Take a team like SOTA (Class A) for example who has 4 more kids enrolled than BB Pal-Mac. Or take FT and Charlotte who have played more teams above their classification, but have fared very well in their class.
