Pburg vs hport rematch

Hammondsport pburg see each other again now in the SCL tourney obviously playing in a much different atmosphere up in pburg being a very tough place to play...hport did play them closer than most people thought they would what do you look for each team to do differently and what should they do? and what do you think the outcome will look like?

Honestly it wasn't that close the first time, Dougie Lewis (22 points) was taken out early in the 4th quarter due to injury and then Wade Fuller was taken out of the game with 3:00 minutes left and a 19 point lead, the only reason it looked close was a couple of silly turnovers by the Prattsburgh reserves and a Jake Clarkson 3 pointer off a turnover with 7 seconds left, Yes Hammondsport played well, but I don't imagine Coach Burke will "Call off the dogs this time" with that much time on the clock. I don't expect a close game.

ok i agree he wont call of the dogs and how can you say it wasnt close it was way closer then some of the people here ever expected it to be you cant say that you didnt expect them to blow us out by thirty or more most everyone on here did....i think it was an extremely pleasing game to be part of considering we lost by 50 some last year...and i dont understand how some people(not you) on here said that they played sloppy you dont score 62 points playing sloppy

Prattsburgh is averaging 63 points a game but have scored in the 70's 4-of-5 times and hit 80 once. They've played at times this season like a "Well Oiled Machine" I was there and did think Prattsburgh played sloppy, Wade even had a couple of uncharacteristic turnovers. Prattsburgh did not play very good In Hammondsport last week, that was not the same Prattsburgh team that I've seen 16 times this season. They looked a lot better vs. Arkport Saturday afternoon and I think they'll be ready for Hammondsport tomorrow night.

Defense54-If you've seen Prattsburgh play this season, (Which I know you probably haven't other than your game) you'd probably agree with "us" that they Played sloppy that night, you'll see the "Real" Vikings tomorrow night. I'll apologize now........................

Prattsburgh probably did play sloppy just as they did at the start of the Arkport game. The real Prattsburgh showed up later and blew Arkport away. At the same time, I thought Prattsburgh would beat Hammondsport by 35 points so re4gardless of the little run at the end. hammondsport still kept it within 20 so they must have played good or at least better then I expected. I in no way think Hammondsport will win the game tomorrow but I would like to see some of their players have good games and show a little more control out there.

i never once said we would win...i just wish that some people on here would show hammondsport some recognition yah there eight in the county but 6-8 were all 4-6 six in the county and the only real team that dominated the county was pratsburg yes the other teams played extremly well but there is no way that you can say they did what pratsburg did...i agree pratsburg is good but any team can be beat at any time.....who ever would have believed it if i told you bucknell would beat kansas a couple years ago....no one....so you cant completely rule out the possiblity....there is a chance for everyone to have a shot...im not saying hports gonna win im just saying there not gonna lie down and die like last year

Obviously, right now you're not as good as Addison but you have as much skill as they do so you could be. Jake needs to figure out what his game is. You need to play solid and grab some boards. The guards need to have less turnovers and Brandon Bulley needs to become the player I know he can be.

In a scrappy game against H'Port Prattsburgh held on for a 12 point win. They were up by 20 going into the fourth quarter but Hammondsport went on a 9-0 run. Brandon Bulley for Hammondsport wasn't at the game. I have to say I was impressed with Hammondsport. Prattsburgh played sloppy but I think that was due to Hammondsport's style of play. They are sloppy and make others sloppy. Baroody played a good game. Clarkson had a few too many turnovers for me to be impressed. Doug Lewis and Wade Fuller played good games for Prattsburgh. The Vikings will face C-S on Sat.
