John Richards is nasty at hurdles, hes only a freshman but with work hes goin all the way... plus he can get into a college were they appreciate minorities (hes mexican)

Trying to stick with those who are being recruited already, Zach Rivers signed his Letter of Intent with Syracuse today I know. Tyler Stacheki(spelled that wrong) is going to Binghamton. I don't know many others. Anyone?

kirt martin, nick badeau and sean ainsworth are running the 600 i think, because dereks doing the mile, 2 mile, and 4x4. kirt could possibly win that thing. Darren's going to either alfred state or buff state i think then transferring to UB, but he hasn't made a full commitment yet

It just seems weird to take him out, unless you want to save him for 4x400 but it seems like you would have time to rest... whatever though.

Yeah but that doesn't do him much good if he can't get to the goal. I break ankles all the way up the field, then just place the ball wherever I want it to go.

Ya I would assume some of the top tier schools would be pretty solid. Im pretty naive actually when it comes to college sports, where would you say is the "top recruiter"

there arent a ton of real good track schools in wny... syracuse is the best but ub isnt bad and neither is cornell. Binghamton is another school that decent at track. And so is albany but then u r getting out of western ny

Yeah Cornell is really strong but they Can't give scholarships so that hurts them. Syracuse is good in Multi-events like Dec and Heptathlon and a bunch of Sect. V guys are either there or going there (Pat, Cory, Rivers). UB is more or less a team full of Sect. V alumni tho.

Next year's class is lucky, meets will be swarming with scouts to see Cromartie, McClary, Fontanez, Bell, Murray, Drock, etc. That class is loaded

i think it's because they're ivy league and aren't allowed scholarships for athletics because they are supposed to be focusing acceptance on academics... either that or the school doesn't allow them for the same reason...

it's not just track either, they don't give them out for any sport

Yeah no athletic rides at ivy Leagues. When I spoke to their coach he was clear about that.
