I have heard unconfirmed rumors that this game has been rescheduled for thursday. If so, this is a major threat to the wolf pack, as it may hurt our cheering section with the loss of some fans to scholastic bowl. Hopefully Turntwo stays for the game so we can have the band

Well, this rescheduling has gutted the wolf pack. Sportsloverfanatic and turntwo, two of the top members, wont be there because of scholastic bowl. Topshelf is in Florida, and monkey0713 just got his wisdom teeth removed. We're screwed crowd wise.

It's Holley. Go for senior night, then leave and go to the Attica-Oakfield game. Tell Rapone to put give Mike Teresi the start rather than you.. haha
You should just sit back and enjoy the game. :)

I shall be able to attend, unfortunatley I will not be able to yell or cheer at all to my full potential. I agree with Mr. Section5sportsguy, were screwed crowd wise, but fortunatley the basketball team will still clean oakfields clocks.

Congrats to the Hornets! They came in to Attica's gym and pretty much controlled Attica! Attica led at the beginning of the first and trailed the rest of the way. Made a couple of runs but never closer than three. OA wins by about ten. As much as it pains me they were the better team tonight as score will indicate. Their OA Crazies did a nice job also. Good luck to them the rest of the way! What does everyone think about Attica's chances in sectionals. Looks like they will play Waterloo or Dr. Freddie Thomas in Attica next Friday night. Look forward to reply's!

WOW. what a game. thanks for the props, abc1974, the key to the game was oakfield's defense, and ability to shut down wolfley. he had around 5 points(?) four were on dunks where, it seemed he was slow getting back on defense(mainly cuz he plays all game) and the defense forced a turnover and wolf was wide open under the basket. Despite not having their leaders, wolfpack was pretty good. louder than we anticipated, and at times a little creative.

I listened to it on the WBTA website and after the game the only point totals I could remember were as follows:
OA:
Gerber - 18
Davis - 16
Call - 9
Seward - 4
Riner - 4
Attica:
Wolfley - 10
From the people I have talked to they said the gym was extremely loud and a very good game.

very loud. very good. although oakfield won by like 12, the game was good the entire time. fairly good officiating, calling, and missing, both ways.

Your right on about the OA defense. Also, does Seward ever miss from beyond the arc? He killed the Blue Devils tonight! Lastly, and this is not an excuse and I know he plays the whole game and they ask a lot of him, but is Wolfley feeling all right? He looked especially tired this evening, much more so than I've seen in other games where he has played alot? Just a question not an excuse!!

i know he looked especially exhausted when call stole the ball from wolf around midcourt and he just stood and watched him instead of running back. it was when call missed the open layup and riner got the rebound.

wolfley had a hard two handed tomahawk dunk wide open.
nothing too contriversal. one time one ref called a block while the other called a travel
a bunch of steals. a lot of defensive plays

No controversies and not much exciting from the Attica perspective. Not sure if I have seen anyone shoot threes like Gerber since watching G Mac in the 2002 NCAA Championship game against Kansas. The kid had the stroke tonight. Any thoughts on Attica's chances in sectionals?

Do you think this will affect him in playoffs or will the week off get him back to normal. He is a great player and I figure he will but I was just wondering since I was not able to make the game tonight.

James Davis made the most bizarre/jaw-dropping layup that anybody here has probably ever seen. Its pretty hard to put into words, but ill try. He drove to the paint, got fouled hard in the air and did a corkscrew flip in mid-air, making the shot and drawing the foul. We were too awed to even cheer.

Attica better hope the long bus ride makes the other team tired , cause both those teams have 2-3 kids that can score double figures every game.Cause if Wolfly dosen't get alot of team support with scoring. It will be one and done fot Attica in sectionals.Just my opinion.

They will run and run and run some more. Not too much on the defensive end. They are lightining quick. Very quick feet and hands. They are tough to officiate. They will try to outscore you. If Wolfley isn't feeling well, Freddie Thomas will certainly not help his illness. He better be prepared to play all out. He will be the biggest player on the court, by far. He might be the slowest as well. It could be a long night if Freddie Thomas shoots any where near 40-45 %. They could score 90 points.

You have never had anything good to say about Wolfley besides backhanded compliments. You should come. The Wolfpack would have a field day with you.

All right Steve!! That's the fire we're looking for!!! The best thing the Blue Devils can do is forget about last night and get ready for Dr. Freddie Thomas. If they are going to see all this speed they need to be healthy!! If Thomas thinks they can just score score score and play no D they will be unpleasantly surprised. In a weak defense situation Derek will take the game over early and free up Repka, Keicher, Tate, Dupuis and the rest for later! It's getting "fashionable" to diss Attica's chances, let's prove them wrong!! Wolfpack back in FULL FORCE next Friday and if Oldschool shows up you can verbally make mincemeat out of him!

Wolfley is not a slow player at all. I think his point was that Freddie Thomas plays at such a fast pace level that the slowest player down the court will be from Attica. Two different styles of basketball thats for sure.

First Wolfley is not slow at all. He was tired on thursday because of illness and brad riners style of play. He likes to push the ball and move it quick ( except for the time he looked to coach for a play and keicher sneaked up and took it)..
second. James Davis's Cork screw lay up might have beaten wolfleys Tamohawk, it was very nice. I applauded from the Wolfpack.
Third. Syracuse beat Georgetown today:D

yeah. we had tons of turn overs against attica. and oakfield, well. they just destroyed us. we had talent, we didnt have a coach.

Kind of gutless if you ask me.

Agree! UNCman5 whines about everything. Biggest whiner on the football field, basketball court and cant wait to hear all his complaining about baseball! He is self destructing and he has distroyed any hopes of success - nice job c.h. I guess basketball and baseball will be strebs fault too?!
