Dundee vs. Geneseo....

This was a good game. Dundee won 59 to 55. Tschiderer from Geneseo made about everything he shot in the second half, ended up with 23 pts. The kids from Geneseo really came to play and hustled and scrapped and played a very good game I thought.

Well, some people have a little more class and integrity than to come in here and say that a high school basketball team "sucks." You might think Geneseo "sucks" but on that night, against Dundee, they did not "suck."

No they didn't, and I would be very curious to hear how they lost a game to Pavillion this year. I would think Tschiderer and the big kid would be a lot more than Pavillion could have handled.

The kids from Geneseo were scrappy, and rebounded and played very well on the defensive end.

Ok sorry that my manners aren't up to par. They are not an extremely talented Livingston County basketball team. They play in the least talented division in Livingston and are a very average Livingston County division 3 team. If Dundee is so good I just didn't understand what Geneseo was doing in the game. It showed me a striking difference in quality of basketball in the different leagues. Does that work better for you Stew? How are things at black rock?

Psychology, you stance makes no sense. First of all, how can you comment on a game on just the score alone? How do you know if Dundee wasn't ahead by 20 in the fourth quarter, and put in their bench, while Geneseo kept their best players in? Hard to comment on a game that you weren't at.

Second, if the Finger Lakes West is such a bad league, how come three of their teams were in the 2 semi-final games of the Class C bracket? That doesn't sound like a bad league to me.

I grew up with, and am still a fan of the Steuben County League, but have grown to appreciate the hard work and talent that I have seen over the years that has come out of the Finger Lakes West. Maybe before commenting on how bad the league is, you should watch a game first. Here's an idea, come to the War Memorial Friday night at 5 and you can watch two of their teams, including Dundee play for a championship. If you want to come, heck, I will even buy your ticket. If you can't make it, I hear WFLR 95.9 FM will be there, so you can listen to it on the radio!
