You fella's have nothing to be ashamed of, your the best in our eyes. Don't listen to any of the crap that will be going around this site or any other source. The chatter has already started, but it's coming from people who weren't in your position. They were sitting home waiting to here the outcome so they could start the bashing. Wade, Dougie and Marshal are gone guy's, get your tales in the gym working with the new guy's coming up, take them under your wing like the senior's did you. We have 3 of the best shooters in Patrick, Ryan, and Garrett in Steuben County, there's no reason we can't be back to the BCA next year.

you know you are right in a sense. they had a great season but a grat season only matters if you win a sectional championship. ask the Patriots they will tell you about a great season then not winning the most important game.

The Vikings had a great season, even though they did not win the title. Yes, the goal of every team is to win the title, but it is quite difficult to do so. Prattsburgh had 2 losses the entire year (first and last games). To me, that's a great season... Even without the title.

It is a great season. I'm sure it's disappointing to the team, that they didn't win sectionals and simultaneously get Coach Jim Burke his 500th win. It's strange how it worked out: Prattsburgh lost their first game and won 21 in row to put themselves in position where winning the title would earn their coach his 500th victory. Isn't there natural pressure that comes with that scenario? Plus, the outside hype of a potential coaching milestone seemed to overshadow the game itself, Prattsburgh vs. Northstar, No. 1 vs. No. 2. It didn't happen this way, but I believe there would have been more focus on the game itself (and maybe a little less anticipation of victory) had Prattsburgh suffered a second loss during the regular season. A lot less attention would have been on the potential for win No. 499 because, while it's an incredible number, it simply ain't nice-and-round like 500.

Props to Prattsburgh for their season, and to Northstar for rebounding from a slow start early in the season en route to the title.

First off, I am a "Northstar guy" so obviously I am thrilled they won, especially after losing 2 very close championshiop games the last 2 years. I don't know how anyone could say that Prattsburgh did not have a great year because they didn't win sectionals. If Valle misses that 3 in the 4th Prattsburgh wins sectionals. Success is more than winning, especially at the high school level.

Having said that, if there is any smack put up on this website against Prattsburgh I can assure you that it is not coming from the coaching staff or any of the players from Northstar. Northstar holds the highest regard for coach Burke and the Prattsburgh players.

Also, I heard that Coach Burke sent Coach Garwood an email congratulating him on the big win. Further proof that Coach Burke is one of the classiest guys out there. Great season Prattsburgh, good luck Northstar!

The great season that they didn't have, huh let's see, lost the first game, reeled off 21 in a row, of which they faced some of the best shooters in the SCL, one of the best teams in the GR , Win the SCL tourny, and lose by 3 in the section V finals. Sorry Viking's, but according to rentacop's statement you guy's had an unsucsessfull season. Great season fella's, hold your heads up high!!!

Hey btwine2001, I read rentacops post and nowhere does he say that Prattsburg sucks. All he said is that going undefeated as the Patriots did and then lose the superbowl puts a dent in your successful season. Quit adding your comments to someone elses post........As far as Prattsburg players go, there is no reason to hang their heads. They did have a great year...

Hey ITSA I was being sarcastic, I dolled up my last post as not to hurt your feelings. Basically what I was saying is sure they wanted a section five crown, but that doesn't deem an unsucessfull season. Why don't you just stop reading my posts so I don't hurt your feelings anymore. And by the way, we weren't undefeated going into that game, so get your facts str8.

yes being from prattsburgh i was dissapointed that they didnt win sectionals. i never said they sucked and i never said that they had a horrible season. it just makes it that more unbearable to lose in the game that matters the most when you had a good season like they did.

You didn't hurt my feelings......As far as being undefeated, I was talking about the Patriots not Prattsburg......As far as reading your posts, I find them informative and with 112 of them its hard not to read them.
