Boys:
Jay Shafer- first year running track (but ran modified) in indoor he ran our sectional and state qualifier 4x2 and was hitting mid 24's, and placed 4th i believe in long jump at 19' if he could fix his running form (that will be hard) i can see him going 23's in the 200, and his long jump should be mid 19's and above in outdoor.
Steve Shaffer (no relation to Jay)- i'm not exactly sure what he jumped last year but was solid in the long, triple, and high. I know for sure he got 5' in high jump last year and has excellent form, i can see him going 5'4 this year and increase more each year. Also ran the 100 but again i'm not sure on times, placed low durring sectionals but still placed i believe
Kirk Holweldel- Mainly just a sprinter and made sectionals in indoor this year for the 55 and PR'ed by a substantial amount. At the end of Indoor he stayed on the team just to say in shape and i noticed that he is extremely explosive out of the blocks. Very focused when he needs to be and has great form. He's giving Long Jump a shot in Outdoor so we'll see how he does there
** i'll update this more when i remember who else is on our team and for who emerges on top
Girls:
Kayleigh DeAngelo- Placed second this Indoor season in polevault and was a GR allstar last year in Outdoor
Jodi Skidmore- She's a skidmore, what else do i have to say?
**again, i'll update this as i remember more people and as they emerge come meet season

Was 2nd in sectionals in the 100 as a Freshman, and 4th in the high jump. He should do very well as a sophomore this year.

He's from Dundee a C school. Last year he ran 11.2 in the 100M. I know he high jumped 6'2" at Bloomfield, but in sectionals I think he got 5'11". Kids a tremendous athlete.

yah basically anyone who is fast and can jump high is good at long jump, and looking at his 100 time and high jump height he is definately fast, and he can definately jump high. he should seriously consider doing it because i think long jump will make his high jump better and high jump will make his long jump better.

Pure strength doesn't necessarily mean that they will be good at shot and disc. It's all about form. Sure, strength is an important factor but without form you won't be able to throw worth beans!
