I see Bennett pitched 4 shutouts in four consecutive days, the last being a no hitter. I also see that Cal-Mum has won 9 in a row since their opening season loss.I guess they aren't quite dead yet. Maybe they did deserve some press early on,lol.

This is a post I wrote from 04-03-2007, 01:50 PM after Cal-Mum was beaten easily by Way-Co, notice the last sentence
This is a BB School who won Sectionals last season, so it's not like they lost to a "Cup Cake" but 15-4 is a little more lopsided than i would have thought, playing a team like Way-Co for your season opener is a tough one. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cal-Mum goes on a long winning streak after that loss.
Lucky Guess?

Here's something even more prophetic. Check out one of my previous posts where I was complaining about Grace throwing 18-0 no hitters. Guess what the score was when Bennett threw her's against LeRoy the other day. You got it. I talked to an ump who did the game. He said it was 1-0 after 4 innings. Also, Bennett's dad isn't the scorekeeper, it was a legit no hitter. Ask Pavilion if they got no hit vs Warsaw, lol.

How much depth does Pembroke, Cal-mum, and Honeoye have? Cary, Grace, and Bennett are having great seasons and have all been All-State Selections but what team has the most depth? It looks like their bracket will be a tough one and that the number 1 seed will have the easiest road.
Are there any other good teams that will compete with Bolivar-Richburg for the spot in the regional this season?

is going to be tough for anyone to win this year. Defending champ Cal-Mum is deeper than they were last year. Don't know much about Pembroke or Honeoye other than they have their pitcher's back from last year. Bolivar just spanked Livonia yesterday. Ingalls would make any of those teams the state favorite. Could Warsaw upset Bolivar in class C? I doubt it but I am rooting for it. Bolivar did only beat Pavilion 2-0 in last year's sectionals so there is hope. Just hitting the ball off of Ingalls is an accomplishment.

What big wins have Oakfield, Pembroke, Honeoye, Warsaw, Cal-Mum, Addison and Gananda have? All of the teams listed have great records, have any of these teams played eachother? CCC looks like a challenge!!!
