changeup- it fakes you out, you have to stay back on it. It just freezes you.
Riser-it looks good and it just rises at the last second. By the time you swing, it's too late."

The toughest pitch to hit is the one that you are least expecting in a location that taps into a hitter's weakness. It becomes a cat and mouse game between hitter and pitcher. Everyone knows that one of the key ingredients to success, as a pitcher, is to change speeds. Therefore, it can be any of the forementioned pitches that can create difficulties for a hitter.

I haven't seen too many girls throw it but a good drop ball baffles most hitters, especially hitters that sit back in the box.
