The Keshequa baseball team won the LCAA D-III title and finished the regular season with a record of 17-2. The Indians will host the winner of No. 8 Naples-No. 9 Geneseo in the Class C quarterfinals Thursday.


Bolivar-Richburg earned the No. 2 seed in Class C and will meet the winner of No. 7 Clyde-Savannah-No. 10 Wheatland-Chili Thursday. No. 3 Red Jacket gets the winner of No. 6 Lyndonville-No. 11 H-A-C. Dundee hosts Warsaw in Thursday's 4-5 game at 4:30 p.m.-The Tribune

No. 7 Clyde-Savannah 9, No. 10 Wheatland-Chili 8

Tom Munson scored the winner on a Mike Arnitz single in the bottom of the sixth for Clyde-Savannah (6-11).

Shane Isaacs struck out 10 and helped his cause, going 4-for-5 for Wheatland-Chili (4-14).-D&C

No. 6 Lyndonville 14, No. 11 Harley-Allendale-Columbia 5

Seniors Ben Whipple went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Tyler Lillie went 2-for-4 with four RBI for Lyndonville (9-9).

H-A-C finished 4-20-1.-D&C

No. 9 Geneseo 12, No 8 Naples 8

#9 Geneseo advanced to the Class C baseball semifinals thanks to relief by Marc Peterson in a 12-8 win over #8 Naples. Peterson struck out all 11 batters he faced in 3 & 2/3 rd innings of relief for Geneseo. Junior Ethan Moore finished 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run in the fifth inning in the win. Chad Bondersonded went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI for Naples (7-17) -D&C

No. 1 Keshequa 7, No. 9 Geneseo 3

Nate Spencer struck out 10 and pitched a two-hitter for Keshequa (18-2), which has won 16 consecutive games. Spencer also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the win.

Dan Benjamin scored a run for the Blue Devils (7-15).

No. 7 Clyde-Savannah 6, No. 2 Bolivar-Richburg 5

Mike Arnitz earned the win and went 2-for-4 with a double for the Eagles (7-11). Collin Morrison struck out seven and went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Bolivar-Richburg (15-4)-D&C

Keshequa plays Lyndonville at 6pm Thursday at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia for the final.
