Also, Will Robertson for winning the 100, 200, 110HH, and triple jump (even though he beat me :P). Many excellent performances at the CCC/D sectionals today, how about the other sectionals?

I think so...if not it has been an incredibly long time. I graduated *cough* 20 years ago an don't remember a team championship that I can recall.

I just noticed that Nate Morris did not compete in the class CC sectionals on Saturday. He would have easily won the triple jump and been top 2 for long jump. Does anyone know why he did not compete? Will he be competeing at Meet of Champions?

I talked to him about it and no, he didn't compete and won't compete until college. He told me he had a lower back skeletal muscle strain and he had to get his hips readjusted or something and if he does anything now it'll really screw him up so he's gunna wait it out and get healthy.

And those pits were sweet. Batavia like sand but better the only problem was that you were jumping into a 10mph head wind haha. I jumped after I already ran the 4x100 and 4x400 back to back then ran another open 400 so I was dead

AlfredAlmond's boys track turned a lot of heads as they rolled over their opponents to take the Section V class D title. Congrats to coach Greg Cook for being named Coach of the year for 2008. AlfredAlmond joins Bath as sectional winners locally. Awesome job AlfredAlmond & Bath!!!

Oh, yeah I noticed a lot of those jumps weren't up to people's PR's. I had a pretty bad day too, took 5th in long and 4th in triple but I am glad that we won the team title.

Haha, now you know how I felt looking at all of the D schools yesterday at our sectionals. Alfred-Almond pretty much destroyed everyone though, sort of like you guys in CC.
