So it will be Livona/Bath in the Final at a site TBD. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Hornell.

The Championship game won't be in Hornell as there's already a double header there with the D championship @ 4:30 and the DD Championship @ 7:00.

Mike Rossi seemed untouchable through 4 innings and i believe he sat them down in order but then the 5th inning came! Livonia got bases loaded and it didn't stop there they got walks, hits with a nice ground rule double to right-center by northrup to help his own cause after getting picked off on 1st and a throwing error to first. Personally I think Rossi should have come out sooner and let York or even Ratchford on 3? days rest come in. Bath had the game and looked good up until that point.
COngrats to Livonia!

Baseball is a funny game. Rossi set them down through 4 and was in complete command. To start the 5th, the lead off batter for Livonia dribbled one down the third base line that the Bath players allowed to roll.( and rightly so.. they never would have had a play ) It stayed fair. The next batter chopped one into the ground and the ball bounced completely over the third baseman's head. Justin Smith then bunted and the throw to first by Bath's catcher was not in time. Bases loaded and not one ball hit hard. The next batter ( in my opinion ) was struck out twice, but the strike zone became very small, very quickly. Base on balls. The next batter was 0-2 and then punched one between a drawn in infield to left field scoring two runs. Livonia 3 Bath 2. The next ball was hit to right field. The outfielder sprinted in and then tried to back track to catch the ball that sailed over his head. Two more runs on a mis-judged fly ball. The next ball was bounced to 3rd and the throw home was in the dirt another run. 6-2. Chip Northrup then hit a shot ( a ground rule double ) into centerfield. Livonia 7 Bath 2. If I was making decisions that would have been the place I would have taken the pitcher out. Not before. One well hit ball and 7 runs. That's baseball !! Livonia was set down in order again in the 6th... one, two, three.
Initially, what hurt Bath was loading the bases in the first and second innings and only scoring two runs. They had multiple opportunities to score and could not capitalize. It could have been over early. It was not to be. Livonia battled and played small ball to set themselves up for the kill. Tough loss to swallow for the Bath team. York would have been a logical replacement. NEVER throw Andy Ratchford on two days ( Wed.--Thursday.. The days are counted between starts or appearances ) rest. It is never worth the risk. Andy is still considering trying to play baseball in college.
Good season, but tough ending....

From where I was..there was definitely more than one well hit ball in that inning. The second single was hit very shaply..considering it bounced off the grass probably a good ten feet into the air on it's way over Yastremski's head. The ball that got under a diving Justin Brown was also struck pretty cleanly. The fly ball to right was a shot - though Havens did initially misjudge it, but it was a pretty solid knock anyway. and the ground rule double as you said was a shot.
Mike still had pretty decent stuff, and wasn't throwing poorly, but the mounting frustration was obvious as they just couldn't get an out. He continued to battle and kept throwing as was asked of him. York warmed up for some time but obviously never got the final call out to take the ball.
Livonia's defense made some good plays in those opening innings - some nice throws from the outfield to hold runners on sac flys or to one base on a hit. And the Brizzee kid made a beautiful play in centerfield on Rossi's liner. That play alone saved the Bulldogs a run and probably kept the Rams from having another runner on third.
