Women Rhinos add Four Local Players (http://www.rhinossoccer.com/news/article.php?id=561)-Rhinossoccer.com

Brittany Kinmond, a freshman from Spencerport High School, joins the Rhinos Women's Team as a forward. As a varsity star since eighth grade, Kinmond was the second leading scorer in Monroe County in 2006, and was the top scorer with 41 points in Class AAA as a freshman. She is a member of the Rochester Jr. Rhinos Elite Girls U-16 Team, regularly practices with the Jr. Rhinos U-15 Elite Boys Team and frequently serves as a guest player for the Jr. Rhinos U-18 Elite Girls Team.

Wow that's a pretty impressive resume for a 15 year old girl. Hopefully she doesn't get too beat up playing against former pros and college graduates. Definitely sounds like a name to watch for in the future.

Impressive as it may be, it's a bad idea. There's a big difference in so many ways between a 15 year-old and a 21-24 year old player. Somebody's parents are pushing a little too hard. Hope it all turns OK for her.

Well Miah Hamm first played with the US Women's Full national team at 15. Soccer is a different sport than basketball or football. Often quickness and stamina can make up for what you lack in body strength.

The Rhinos W-League team complies with all NCAA limitations on professionalism. They are not a pro team. Some of the girls make money working for the organization in other aspects (camps, clinics, pr, etc) but none of the girls are paid to play.

Soccer has several leagues setup like this in the US as does Hockey (USHL, etc).
