This class is loaded this year. I wish that the fans in Class C would be able to see all of these people play in the sectionals. It is unfortunate that there are 3 classes and they are played all over the section.

I think Western New York has the best Class C teams in the state.

It's loaded and has to be the best in the state, I'll be shocked if Section V doesn't win the State title in class C the next two years.

there's a great Double-Header today in Letchworth, Warsaw plays the first game and B-R the second game.

be some good teams knocked out today. The toughest part about winning states in class "C" is getting out of section V. I agree, too bad they all play on the same day all over the place. Wouldn't it be great to watch all the teams play on a Saturday from 7am to 7pm? Kind of like they do with basketball on a Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena.

Where would you do this for softball? Also, how do you fit 3 or more games into one day?

How long is the average softball game? 3hrs? 4hrs? It's not like basketball where you can have a scheduled time slot. Imagine a team from Bolivar-Richburg driving up to Rochester for a late game and not even getting to play because the early game lasted too long.

don't follow softball. The average game takes less than two hours. So, you do the math. Also, some fields actually have lights. I would charge you, just you, $50 to watch all day.

I understand lighted fields. But lets say for example you want to do all of the quarter-finals at one location on a school day. Even if you start at 3pm, you have games tentatively scheduled for 5, 7 and 9. If you get extra innings in early games do you start the late game at 10? 11?

I'm trying to think like a Section V official to figure out how it could work.

Saturdays and Sundays.

So you wait a whole week to play each round of sectionals?

Jammer24

say EACH round had to be played on the same day. Don't fret about it, it's not going to happen. I was just saying that THIS year it would have been nice to see a lot of the match ups in all the "C" brackets. For example, play all the semi's on a Saturday at one location. That would mean 6 games, let's say from 9am till finish. I know you would be praying for rain. Na, Na, see I told you Jammer's idea wouldn't work, lol.

Warsaw wins Class C 2-1 over BR. The game was as close as they come. Both teams didnt look their finest as the game had many errors and base running mistakes.

Warsaw is a solid club this year. Class C should fair well in the states no matter who goes on to the regional.

I beg to differ Warsaw made no errors Kelly Spear walked 1 gave up 3 hits and completed a unassisted double play.

Bolivar had 3 errors Jordan Ingles gave up 5 hits and hit 2 batters.

Ingles went 1-3 with a strike out

Spear went 1-2 with a SAC bunt

Warsaw (much like BR) suffered from a few base running problems. I am not sure about the box scores to know the errors but you can't tell me that Warsaw was playing that great of a game as well. Both teams looked like they were feeling the pressure. For Warsaw it was staying undefeated and playing a proven team like BR. BR looked as if they were playing to not lose the state championship.

Two great teams. Could be #1 and #2 in the state.

I agree about the base running and coaching situations there were mistakes.
but defense Warsaw was great.

a base running mistake I don't see where Warsaw looked tight at all. In fact I was impressed that Warsaw DIDN'T look intimidated by Bolivar, like most teams do. Let's not forget WARSAW was the #1 seed, not Bolivar. The remaining playoffs should be good games.
