The Bath Lady Rams 10 year old 3-on-3 Basketball team coming off their Championship in the Hornell Gus Macker are holding Fundraisers trying to Raise enough money to attend the Gus Macker National tournament being held October 11th & 12th in California. They're holding a Pop Can Drive, Raffles & a Yard Sale August 15th & 16th at 119 Circle Drive in Bath. They're looking for Business sponsorships & personal Donations too. Everyone please give these girls your support if you can. They are working REALLY hard... collecting cans, doing raffles, and so on.

This Coming Thursday September 4th the Lady Rams will be holding another Bottle & Can Drive at 47 West Steuben Street in Bath from 3:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m the girls will also be putting on a little exhibition for everybody as well. The Drive is being held in my office Parking lot and we'll be putting a portable hoop outside. Here's MY CHALLENGE TO ALL MEMBERS LIVING IN THE AREA I obviously don't expect our members from Rochester or Batavia to drive down to donate Cans but to all of our members in the Bath/Hornell area, The Sectionv.talksback.com Member who donates the most Cans will win a vareity of Gift Certificates from Me, including Two Adult Passes to the GLenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport Where Biplanes Soared & Motorcycles Roared. W.V.I.N's Joel Oriend is also offering up a Challenge he's going to give away A Free Golf Team for the W.V.I.N Golf Tournament next Monday, (A team will get to play for free) To whoever donates the Most Cans, so if your a Talksback.com Member and you bring the most cans you'll get my prize pack & Joel's Free Golf Team. September 8th at the Bath Country Club 4 person Captain & Crew Format Shotgun Start, Joel has already paid for the team out of his own pocket and this includes Greens fees, Carts for four, Lunch & Prizes. So the person donating the most cans to the girls will win this Prize!!!

Now if I had known ahead of time, I'd have HOARDED all my cans for this event! I have already donated 8 bags from my house and 2 others from my folks...and I've already paid for my team for the tourney!!!!
People if you have never played at our club here in Bath, it is a GORGEOUS course so round up some cans and bring em in! Even if you don't 140 per foursome is LESS than it would cost you to play there normally and there are some spots left I hear tell (32 team limit).

Don't Forget Tomorrow from 3:30-6:00 at 47 West Steuben Street in Bath Bring your Cans & Bottles, Buy a Hot Dog and Watch the Girls Practice as they get ready to go to the Gus Macker National Tournament. Any Cans & Bottles will certainly help them, Remember if a Talksback Member brings the most cans they'll win a Prize Pack & A 4 man Golf Team

Check out the Democrat and Chronicle this Sunday as Youth Sports Writer John Boccacino will have a feature article on the Bath Girls and their quest to go to the Gus Macker National Tournament next month in California.
