great game by odyssey and smola.
i thought that when le roy went up 3-0 in the second inning that it was over. smola settled in and pitched a heck of a game.
i am not sure how great the odyssey offense is, but smola is a pretty good pitcher. not sure if they will beat livonia though.

I'm from Caledonia, and I've been taught my whole life that when Leroy loses its always a good thing. But i don't know after that game, for the second year in a row Leroy loses to a private-type school. I'm getting sick of these private schools, they should all have to bump way up in classification, especially after winning a sectional title in the previous year like the leopards did. How about Aquinas, Mcquaid, Odyssey, Bishop Kearney, Finney, Webster Christian, Northstar, and Lima Christian all join their own league for sectionals and play other private schools in states. This is stupid.

Odyssey is a public school in every shape and form. You have to look into this whole topic before taking the typical knee jerk reaction to it. In Buffalo right now they're complaining because they don't win any state championships anymore. They want the private schools back in sectionals.

Tearing down to the least common denominator is never a good thing. It's not what our country was founded on. It is unfortunately the way we appear to be going.

Here's my thought on this public/private debate..... If Section VI wants to bring in the privates so they can win some state titles than let them do it. Section V has the edge anyways but not because of or private schools but because We have great kids and great coaches who come through some of the best programs in the state. Our public schools carry the load very well...look at the 3 state soccer titles won by teams south of the 90 in York, Livonia and Arkport. Look at haw Section V wrestling dominated the D-2 bracket as well as the D-1 bring home a ton of champs.

Odyssey is not a private school. Not sure where you got that info from but you sound like an idiot when you try and bash with false info.
