From what I understand, Sodus has nobody left from there crew last year. Just Parker Spears.

Sodus has a great chance entering this year, they have a lot to prove but will definitely be able to contend in this league

They have started 2-0, correct me if I am wrong. And I believe they beat Albion who is usually pretty good.

Sodus generally has some good players. The problem is that they cant get the majority of the team on a summer league like alot of the schools.

Im still gunna have to say Red Creek all the way..

No team will give red creek a problem this year. A wayne county team should consider themselves lucky if they can stay within 3 of red creek.

I heard that NRW only lost to Red Creek 1 to 0. I think Nrw must have played really well.

that and it looked like Red Creek wasnt on top of their game by any means.

also the fact that many of rc's best players didnt play [ie fisher, scutt, and sherman played only a few minutes due to hamstring problems]. but it was close nonetheless

The NRW goal keeper played a very good/boderline great game - Red Creek has seemed to settle into a nice rotation without those players in the line up. Red Creeks rookie keeper also played a nice game.

What has Vitale been up to ? Dominating ?

Vitale's strength is his consistant play - he plays hard, and he never seems to loose his cool - when the chips were getting ready to fall he made 4 or 5 great defensive plays at the 18 that really helped Red Creek's defense! without his play Red Creek could be in a different position.

Another helpfully and very unknown player for red creek has been matt treby he has played very well at the defensive end and is a reason for red creek's success... he has even gottn some attention from a D1 scout.

His touch is unreal

He reminds me alot of Anthony Danizio from East Rochester last year, hes a hustler and never seems to quit when going for a ball.

Vitale is sort of like Danizio they are both small (vitale being a bit bigger and in my opinion much stronger) but they both consistenly find themselves in big plays, offensively and defensively. Both are extremely fast and have great touch. If RC can finish the season with their complete team which means keeping fisher eligible Keyan out of trouble, and Ryon Adam on the field along with a healthy and very impressive (out of position goal keeper) Kevin Dates they could have a good chance at winning back to back state titles. Who knows?

Red Creek is playing well but Williamson would give all the other teams fits if they could put the ball in the net.

williamson wasnt even close to giving east rochester fits the other day had ER been able to put their break aways in Williamson would have lost by 6

I believe that one of the more underrated players on the Red Creek team is Anthony Losurdo. He plays great D, and he has just as much skill as anyother player on the team, yet he isnt really mentioned at all...any thoughts on this?

i like...soccer.
10-04-2008, 03:29 PM
i agree anthony losurdo is an underrated player who is now starting to find his form after a shaky start to the season. but on the topic of underrated players i think the entire red creek defense can fit into that category. cunningham, scutt, losurdo, and treby have been outstanding so far this season and are the reason red creek is as good as they are.

offense sells tickets, defense wins championships and if red creek can keep up the way theyve been playing i think theyll go all the way

Vitale plays the game the right way. He is a pass first player along with pretty much the whole red creek team. Eli is a very good piece in the puzzle and distributes constantly. It is a beautiful scene out on the pitch

umm didn't you just say alex casciani is good??

.."from class CC its difficult to find the right stikers or middies, alot of them like to hog the ball.
What about keepers? Gananda's Alex Casciani always shows up and puts on a great performance. best in CC no doubt"

I'm confused
