Official LeRoy vs Bath thread(or Geneva)

For a couple years now Leroy and bath have had a pretty big rivalry off the track and on the track, Me and a couple other members of the bath track team talked to some of Leroys top athletes and they agree to try to get a Leroy vs Bath meet together as a LCAA showdown. Also I have heard Geneva would like to face bath as well, maybe a 3 team meet can be made as well? that would be huge because these 3 teams are suppose to be the 3 best in Division 2 Section V. The reason why I bring this up now is because obviously this would take a while to setup. Coaches or others that can make this happen please consider it because most likely your athletes would approve of this!!!

I doubt that this would happen. First, because the only way we would compete against you guys (not in an invite) would be in a scrimmage. I do not see us driving all the way to Bath (about a 2 hour trip by bus) or you guys coming all the way to LeRoy just to scrimmage. Also, scrimmages are called scrimmages for that reason. No one is expected to have their top performance at a scrimmage. Therefore the results would not be completely accurate.

well i did say sam armstrong will beat your team but apparantly he didnt run due to diciplinary actions. Look if your trying to start something on here its not going to work. So i guess this thread is dead no one really wants to get this meet to happen, but i prob know the outcome if this meet did occur

i really dont think it can happen with all the racing that we do coaches arent going to want to race all out even more if there isnt anything but bragging rights on the line

ha well i dont think your coach really likes me. i ran horrible at leroy(leroy guys know what happened in the race haha) yeah i would like to run against leroy guys in track. i rarely do. just in a relay its beat but the 2 hour bus ride is bad. i dont think coaches will do it but i know at the meet we wont treat it as a scrimage. it will be all out for everyone for "bragging" rights on this website. i dont know why you guys argue on here its pointless. one race matters. thats sectionals we will see what happens.

Something that you could possibly do is to convince your coaches to try and find a similar invite to go to, then just compare times as if it were a dual

And as I have said earlier, it probably won't happen. Our coach is not going to make us get on a bus for a 2+ hour ride just to have a meaningless scrimage. Yes, bragging rights would be on the line, but that is unimportant. Our team will be more worried about preparing for sectionals and not bragging rights on a website. Your team should do the same as you are probably the favorite in Class B right now.
