They still got that Krupner kid. He's pretty athletic. They just have to find the right events for him because he just uses all natural ability rather than working for it. I know they have a couple more kids like him. Obviously it's nothing that will win them sectionals but they might be good for a few good upsets this year.

Except I would obviously be smart enough not to consider the seniors from last year when I did the scoring. And like the kid from Letchworth said, yeah there would be a score but you never know. Someone who wasn't good last year could step up or newcomers could greatly affect both teams. Its nice to have somewhat of an idea though.

we do a different body part everyday, like for example
mon-backs
tues-shoulders
wed-legs
thurs-chest
fri-arms/ anything you haven't done

Haha, well after I looked at some video of myself jumping I think that might have been the cause. I noticed that my take off leg was always low. I would not pull it up high with the other leg and then it would obviously land earlier than if I had pulled it up. I think it's because my legs were always so tired and sore from doing so much of that jumping stuff that I just couldn't pull it up.

...Now I'm gonna have to take that long jump title from you in indoor for that comment!!! :)

You never can tell though. Other schools have changed enrollment numbers too so you may stay down you may move up. We have to wait and see once they put the numbers out there because I personally don't feel like looking up every school in section V to see what their enrollment numbers are.

Yeah. That probably would take a little time. Do you know when they should have that stuff posted?

At the very latest.... At the end of basketball season.

Google "NYSPHSAA" Go the the official site. You can get cutoff numbers there. But Section V won't have the divisions between c/cc/ccc until mid to late basketball season

He might be able to run come outdoor season, so far this year he's been having private lessons with our english teacher and hasn't been in a normal school day atmostphere, doctors are scared he might bump into someone or trip in the busy halls and get back to square one but hopefully by either after thanksgiving break or the start of second semester he'll be back in school but i'm not sure of his chances of running outdoor he was at most of our XC meets and he looked really good at all the ones i seen he still has work to do but he's getting there very quickly and he's making tremendous progress

thanks for asking

I wouldnt think that they would change too much this year. You guys should still be CCC. I wouldnt be surprised if we were CCC too. How many do you have in your enrollement this year.

I doubt we will move out of CCC this year because we were in the upper middle of the pack last year and our numbers decreased this year I believe. Our current number is 337. I believe we were at 355 or something like that last year.

South Seneca has a kid who won section V class C triple jump last year as a Junior. he also won FL West long jump. I've seen him jump and he's good...went over 20' and 40' last year as personal bests....Could possibly win both jumping events at 2009 class C sectionals.

I jumped against him, i was runner up to him in leagues last year, he only beat me by like 2 inches. Im not really sure what he finished last year in sectionals. He is good but im not sure if he could win the long. Pavilion still has Kruptner who i believe placed first in sectionals last year, but it could happen.

Ryan.....Don't forget to mention yourself as potential league and sectional champ.....Kid from SS belongs to me.....I've really enjoyed the competition between yourself,Ben and Mason over the past few seasons.....when they talk about a game of inches i think they must have meant track and field jumping events......I had a nice chat with your Mom last year while watching you kids compete over at Geneva High......you guys have a really good team and a great bunch of kids and parents......your sprinter is simply off the charts.....does your 4X100 team return intact for 2009 ? We lose Minges and Russell, but keep Ben and Justin Pinnette and we get Ian Buchanan back after being lost to injury...good luck in all of your sports endeavors, congrats on the Scots football success, and I look forward to watching you compete in the 2009 season.

Yah Steve is a rediculous sprinter. With some hard work i think he could contend with Andre'. They are both about even when up to speed but steve will be the first one to tell you that he sucks on starts, but who knows what will happen. Our 4x100 team will probably have Tommy Z, myself, Justin S, then Steven as anchor. Im pretty sure that our 4x400 taem will have the same people on it too. I think that our 4x100 team will be jsut as good if not better than last year. As for not mentioning myself for league and sectional champ for long jump.....i dont say anything about it till it happens, just the way i am. lol

You are right about Webb's starts...they are pretty bad lol. In the pre-lim's in the 100 at the Hornell invite I beat him out but he came back to beat me. I think he was 10.9 and i got 11.3 haha. As for Andre and him being close...maybe in the 200 but not 100. I mean andre ran 10.6h and steve ran 10.9h. I wouldnt be surprised if Steve did beat Andre in the 200 though.

Andre won't let himself loose in the 100...he doesnt like the 200 so much

It be close, you were running in it but if anyone watched the 4x100, steve got the baton first then Dre' when they got up to speed they were running at about the same. Andre didnt make up any ground on him....it just looks like they're top end speed is about the same but like we just said crappy starts is steve's downfall. Hopefully he'll get them down like he should and they'll be even closer than last year.

How many seniors do you guys lose for football?

As for Webb on the track, i'm predicting in his 100m he runs a 10.90 and in the 200m he runs 21.8 (F.A.T. times). Hand time he could go as low as 10.65 and 21.6....just my prediction

Usually in track your junior year is the best, then your senior year you improve a little but not as much as you do your junior year.

For football i think the number is about 6 that were really a factor. We still have Webby which is a good thing. I think that we should have a team just as good as last years.
