I'm surprised by Brighton so far, they're playing really well. AA will be interesting this year, I look for a Brighton vs. Athena final at the Big House

I'm surprised as well. They have no bench and rely on all 5 starters to provide 99% of their scoring. It'll get tougher for them against Sutherland and Mendon, but they should have the #1 seed when it's all said and done.

Interesting fact...
If both Brighton and Batavia win out and Fairport loses to R-H again, Brighton and Batavia will play each other in the 2 vs. 3 game of the monroe county tournament. One can only predict that the emotion form both teams in that game would be extremely high...
with this rivalry game as well as a potential R-H vs Fairport game, what a day the opening day of the MCT would be for basketball fans..

Let's not forget that Batavia-Brighton played each other 3 times last year, in which all games were great to watch. 2 times in league play and the 3rd game was in the 2nd round of Sectionals, played at Batavia... Batavia winning obv.

I would love to see Batavia Vs Brighton round three. I believe this would be on a neutral floor and I would favor Batavia if in fact it is on a neutral floor.
