Thread Rating System: Make SVTB Work For You

As the fall sports season has progressed, SectionV.Talksback.com has seen record number of users make record number of posts. Sometimes this leads to fantastic amounts of new information about games, teams, players and other times it just makes for more static noise. A good way to help yourself and other users sift through the noise is the use of the thread rating system. If you click on a thread that is supposed to talk all about the best coaches in Section Five, but it only is an argument between two rival fan groups, give it a single star which is a "terrible" rating. If you come across a fantastic discussion of the best QB's in Section Five, give it a 5-Star rating to let others know this is a high quality discussion.
We've added more moderators to help keep on top of things, but we don't get a chance to read every new thread every day. If we asusers into habit of doing these things now, then as the site grows it'll make sifting through the garbage even simpler.
