It's now summer camp time girls, where are you? Where have people been going, what's hot and not ? I have been to Syracuse for clinics, Umass Lowell for camp and Cortland this coming week! All are very good. I have seen a variety of receiving methods instructed, which confuses the kids a bit but all good. SU likes dynamic receiving, receiving at angles or that is on the move, same receiving. Lowell likes letting the ball come in closer ,between the feet so to speak. The other times we have discussed receiving it was always out in front as far as possible and when on turf or floor pin it to a stop! that way you have 180 derees of straight forward vision. But hey its all good, bottom line stop the ball!

Field Hockey has postponed the new stick bow rule to 2009 at which time 25mm bows will be enforced and sticks will need label stipulating that. FYI.Again
