Section Five in the State Playoffs

Of the remaining teams in the state playoffs, which Section Five teams have the best shot at winning it all?

Field Hockey:
East Rochester - Class C

Girls' Soccer:
Fairport - Class AA
Livonia - Class B
York - Class C
Arkport - Class D

Girls' Volleyball:
Irondequoit - Class AA
Victor - Class A

Boys' Soccer:
Red Creek - Class C
Wheatland Chili - Class D

Football:
Gates-Chili - Class AA
Aquinas - Class A
Bath - Class B
LeRoy - Class C
Dundee - Class D

I think Aquinas football and Red Creek boys soccer are the odds on favorites to win their classifications.

Also, HFL Boys XC took home the Class A State Title.

the Federation meet is next right? and if it is where is it at?

I have been out of xc for a year now. But I think that it is at Van Cortland park in the Bronx. My first two years of xc, Goldstein took us down there to run in the footlocker invitational the weekend after thanksgiving. I think that the federation race is held there, then the national race is out in california.

oh yeah I remember you guys going there. Too bad we didn't go. But HFL runs in that race right because they won?

It depends. They take (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) the 10 best teams, time wise, and the 10 best runners, time wise, from the state meet, so if HFL's overall team time was 10th best among all the teams, then they will make it.

They were third. I just looked it up.

yeah deir didn't even win though, some kid from marcellus won. Wickus is getting really good, he was 2nd on the team so they should do pretty good.
