Former Victor Lax standout and current UR player Allyson Hogan was critically injured in a car accident yesterday. Please keep Allyson and her family in your prayers for her recovery. She and her sister Liz are great young ladies who represent some of the best Section V has to offer.

Everyone keep Allyson in your prayers. I do not personally know her, but some of my classmates are close with her and she sounds like a very bright, personable young lady.

A Victor woman, who is a student at the University of Rochester, remains in guarded condition at Strong Hospital after being hit by a car. 20 year old Allyson Hogan suffered serious head and upper body injuries when she was hit while trying to cross a street with friends Sunday morning. Hogan is also a member of the school's lacrosse team. The driver of the car has been ticketed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 20-year-old Michael Peacock was charged with unlawfully dealing with minor. Peacock is a goalkeeper for the men's soccer team and is being charged with serving alcohol to Hogan, before she was hit. (Source: 10NBC.com and Fingerlakesdailynews.com)
