Two Section V high school standouts will be wearing new uniforms this coming school year. Carly Napier; who will be a junior this fall, has transferred from Our Lady of Mercy to Pittsford-Mendon high school, where she will play basketball for the Vikings. A second-team All Greater Rochester guard last season, she'll team with Kaelyn Gibson, another second-team AGR pick. Napier is playing with the Empire States Games Scholastic team in Westchester County.
Zac Putnam, who earned All Livingston County League honors in Soccer and Basketball last year is transferring from Honeoye Falls-Lima to Aquinas Institute. The 6'5" 220 pound Junior was first team all-league as a Central Defender in Soccer for H-F-L and honorale mention in basketball. Aquinas is the defending Class AA state champion in soccer.-Democrat and Chronicle

Thats a huge blow to the HFL soccer and basketball programs. But, its not like its the first time Aquinas recruited players from HFL and got them. I guess the race for the LCAA crown is wide open now.

Actually, it's not that big a loss for HF-L as you might think.
Putnam is overrated.
