either aquinas must be a really great school that everyone wants to go to or else they must be pretty good at recruiting kids away from public schools and denying that they're doing it.it seems to be a recurring theme of kids leaving other schools to go there.it isnt just 1 sport either. apparentely, their just as good at not recruiting soccer players as they are at not recruiting football players.

I spoke too soon. Junior was at practice in Geneva today. He still is unsure if he is transfering or not. Football is not the reason he wants to transfer, he and his family have a problem with the basketball coach at Geneva and refuse to have their son play for him.

hopefully he'll work things out and can stay.changing high schools is pretty tough on any kid.either way kids do leave other schools for athletics at aquinas.they must have a pretty great program to leave a public school that doesnt cost anything to go to one that has to cost at least a couple thousand a year.

what was that about recruiting? no one would up and transfer somewhere of their own free will... ;)

Just got back from watching some of Geneva's first day of practice and they look good. With Collins not going to AQ that gives Geneva three recievers each with blazing speed and excellent hands. Derrius Thomas had a few unvelievable one handed catches today. William Floyd, a 10th grade transfer from Auburn may be the fastest out of the three and he came up with a few great catches. If Geneva gets solid play out of their line and avoids injuries watch out.
