Tim Tebow, your 2007 Heisman winner and should of been 2008 winner. How great is he? How will he be remembered among college greats? Is he really Superman? (Yes) Will Tim Tebow beat the Oklahoma Sooners while solving world hunger at half time? (Of Course)

I think tebow is a great player but not this years hiesman... I feel that a 186 QB rating with dam near 4,500 yards thrown, and 48 touchdowns and won the Big 12 championship.... he should be it..... on the other hand.... Tim Tebow had a 176 Qb rating, with 2,500 yards throwing and 28 touchdowns.... and rushed for 564 yards and 12 touchdowns well if you both touchdowns you only get 40... eight behind Bradford.. Sorry not this year Tebow but he should definatly stay one more year because he realy can't throw the ball need to improve on that....

He probably won't be a QB in the NFL. Possibily a RB or WR.

If I would have asked LAST year, who would anybody take on their football team and the 2 guys were Tebow or Flacco, 95% would have said Tebow. He will play in the NFL. He will make an impact as well. He will a QB. The NFL needs QB's. When you have the likes of Ferrotte, Favre,(he should have stayed retired) the dude at Detroit, Grossman or Orton.........there will be room for Tebow.

You cannot tell me that you would rather have Dan Orlowski starting on your team over Tim Tebow. Tebow has one thing that a lot of NFL team need. He has balls. He's willing to do what it takes to win no matter what. If I were an NFL team there would be no reason why I wouldn't draft Tebow.
You always talk about drafting guys with character issues. Well Tebow is a guy who can control the locker room whether he's playing or not.

Tebow should not have one the heisman this year. Bradford threw for 48 touchdowns and was the conductor of the highest scoring offense in college football history. Tebow had a very, very solid year, but Bradford simply did better statistically.
In the NFL, I see Tebow being a late 2nd or 3rd round draft choice. Although the doubts about his NFL ability, I believe a team will take a chance on him and he will eventually get a chance to start somewhere. He will have a solid career. Not a pro bowler, but not a Dan Orlovsky. He will probably be like a Jeff Garcia, not the biggest, and not always a guaranteed starter, but can run and contribute.

Well said, the man is just a flat out winner. Who cares about numbers, the guy just wins games. Isnt that what its all about?

Tebow definitely did not deserve the Heisman this year, but he is a stud and will be successful in the NFL. His determination and intelligence sets him apart from the most recent draft day busts, ie. Losman, Carr, Boller and Grossman

Did you watch the Big 12 defenses. every game somebody hung 60 on the other team. Defense was non-existant minus a little pass rush every once in a while cus they passed 60% of the time. It isn't even close Tebow is the better Player, Leader, and Winner. Done Deal.
He will have a very solid NFL Career. He isn't like most running QB's from college he is really tough and can take a hit. When he can choose to make a move or run over a guy he almost always bulls the guy over. He works hard and has the character to do well.

David Carr is not the one to blame for the Texans failures.
He was a great leader and a tough player. If you put Peyton Manning as a rookie behind that line with a non-existant running game, he probably wouldn't have made it in the league either. Every year David Carr led the league in sacks because his line was so awful. He is a tougher quarterback than most of the guys in the league. He was just dealt a raw deal.

Very true, Carr got killed every year. The Texans picked up Tony Boseli in the expansion draft to be their cornerstone left tackle, but due to injuries he never played a down for the Texans, further crippling their pass protection.

You know I don't really consider any of the guys on ESPN or anything experts. They really don't know as much as one would think. I remember listening to Lee Corso talking about his keys to vitory before a saturday game and his keys were "Running the ball effectively" and "Stopping the run". I'm sorry, but isn't that part of any football coaches gameplan? (Except Mike Martz)

tim tebow will go down as one of the greatest college players ever after they win the title that will make 2 and if he comes back for his senior season he will have great chance to win a 3rd plus a 2nd heisman trophy tough to argue his greatness.
Section5sportsguy

As for the draft, I see most experts rank:
1. Matthew Stafford, Georgia
2. Sam Bradford, Oklahoma
3. Mark Sanchez, USC
4. Nate Davis, Ball State
5. Tim Tebow, Florida
Staffords got an NFL arm and the ability to make all the throws, but his intangibles are questioned. Bradford has got all the tools, but he will be tested in the NFL if he can avoid a pass rush as never got his jersey dirty (except against Texas). Sanchez is overrated, hes got a decent arm but the talent around him makes him look better then he is. Davis is an unknown commodity who possesses all the tools. His only question is will he adjust to the talent gap between the MAC and the NFL. Tebow is questioned because he runs a spread system, and his runnnig ablilty often overshadows how great his arm is.

sam bradford deserved heisman this year. tebow is a great leader and seems like a great person. but i dont see him being very good in the nfl. he needs to go back for his senior year and work on his mechanics as a qb and see how much better of a passer he can be.

Wait....A player should win the Heisman because of what he said in a post-game interview after a loss? Nevermind the fact that Bradford, and McCoy, were statistically superior to Tebow this year. He deserved third place in the Heisman vote.

How? Because God forbid I disagreed with you? So what if Tebow made a heartfelt apology after a loss. He may have had more determination and heart than Bradford and McCoy, but the Heisman Trophy is awarded to the BEST player that season, not the most dedicated.

Harvin will make a bigger impact in the NFL than Tebow. He is sick strong, works like no ones business and has blazing speed. I think he is a guy that can go the distance on any play at any level at 100%
Here is a great segment from ESPN on his rehab Check out the 95's on the incline! Sick strong for a speed guy!

If he stays healthy he could win another Heisman, National Championship, or both. think about it 2 Heisman's and 3 National Championships. If the gators win the championship and he gets the Heisman would that mean he's the best college football player ever?
one more thing. anyone know why he had right shoulder surgery?

If he comes back and doesn't achieve any of this then he wont get drafted and wont be the best college player of all time
