I watched C-G at Wellsville last night and C-G played very well even though the score doesnt indicate it as they lost 71 54. Wellsville made a ton of free throws down the stretch and again as in the first game they made a ton of 3 pointers but over all they played well only being down 7 with 5 min to go. Zack Peters and John McKibben and Bryce Davis had a great offensive game. With the talent that Arkport has and the way C-G has been playing as a total team effort it should be a real good close ballgame and pleasure to watch.I am hoping this is a good prediction C-G 56 ARKPORT 50

Arkport by 15; they cannot afford to lose 6 in a row and 7 of the last 8. Also it will be interesting to see how they respond to losing a teammate for the rest of the season.

It will be a very solid game. Both of these teams have faced some trial and error throughout the season, but none the less, both teams have solid players in their starting 5 and into their bench. I think that it will come down who can stop the penetration; Both teams like to shoot the long ball but also have guards who do enjoy driving. Both teams also have big men who can take the ball to the hole from the wing or foul line. Look for who wants it more and who steps up on defense.
My pick: C-G by 15

No Max Houy got kicked off

I'm a big Max Houy fan from when he's played in my 3-on-3 Tournament, Max is a great kid what'd he do to get kicked off?

Arkport won 58-57: Nick Smith had the game winning shot with about 10 seconds left. Mike Gee, Greg Talbot, and Smith scored most of the arkport points. John Mckibben, Bryce Davis, and Brett Marlatt scored most for cg.

Peters and Kerr were in foul trouble most of the night. Neither played a very big factor in the game.

C-G had chances to win the game and even had the last shot...I heard that the last play was designed to go to McKibben for a game winning lay-up which makes sense seeing that McKibben had a very good game, instead Peters took an off-balanced shot in the corner and airballed...seems like C-G can't get it done in the last quarter. They always seem to be in Games right until the end. For a 3-10 team they don't look that bad when they play and can still surprise some teams as the season comes to an end.

I was not there but heard C-G had the ball twice with under 40 seconds and Peters didnt run any play just drove and threw up a couple bricks.I do agree they have the talent to compete and could give some teams fits in counties though if they play team ball and protect McKibben down low but get him involved also in the offense to open up the shooters on the outside just from heresay.
