I want to thank everyone for their support of me during my suspension from the website last week. I can’t tell you how much it meant for me to see so many people come to my side and defend what they thought was write. I only hope that I am as good of a friend to UNCTarheels as he has been to me. I can’t thank him enough for his efforts.. I also have to thank Oldschool78, who I met this past weekend in Prattsburgh. He is a great gentleman and I won’t forget how he “took the ball and ran with it” when it came to getting me reinstated. Randy, you are a tremendous guy and someone that I can truly call a friend. Again, thank you! The avatar support, started by FLWBall11, was awesome. A special thank you to FLWBALL11, Vikingfan, and Bcherry8 for showing their support this way. It also reminded me why I have the perfect face for radio! I don’t think you can get better advice from someone like Rams15. Mr. Rossi has been a great listener and his feedback is always appreciated. We are lucky to have men like Randy and Bob on this board as they are both tremendous men. I also have to thank the “Dundee bunch” Coachstew, toadhead25, Flwball11 and proudestmonkey27. They were all great in showing their support! And to everyone else that I didn’t mention, thanks :)
Of course, I would be a fool if I didn’t think the support from the Prattsburgh fan base. The signs (what happened to them anyway???), along with the ovation and chant Saturday night before the JV game, will be something I will never forget. I thanked Mara the other night for the signs and want to do it again. It is the greatest place in the state, and as Coach Burke would say “Only in Prattsburgh.” I was able to meet with DrewVT and Hilly the other night and I think meeting them and getting a chance to talk face-to-face was a great opportunity for us all to “move on.” Did anyone see on the news the other night that hell froze over? Actually, it was just that Drew, Hilly, UNC, Oldschool78, and Chris Metcalfe were all sitting at the same table at Prattsburgh Central School enjoying some good pizza and laughs. Talk about the Yalta Conference! I don’t hold a grudge at all to Drew for making the decision he made last week as he is a moderator on this board and he made the decision. I didn’t lose any sleep over it and in fact, I had more fun with it than anything. He was a great sport Saturday night in Prattsburgh with the signs and even posed in pictures with me after with the signs. I look forward to all of us putting the incident behind us and moving forward.
