Congratulations to all team sectional champions as well as those people who won individual/relay events. Your hard work has paid off. Now that sectionals are over and all results are in, I am interested to see who everyone thinks should win MVP for their respective class. Remember, field event and track event MVPs are awarded to each class.

I only really know class d, but for guys class c definatly brian Dinan with his 3200 1000 back to back and the mile win, and for guys class d Alanzo wilson won the 55 finished second in the 300 and brought our 4 x 200 back from 15 meters behind to win by .02 seconds.

I agree with Alonzo for boys D track MVP. He scored 28 points (1st 55, 1st 4 by 200, 2nd 300) and his 4 by 200 was unreal.

That was the crazy end i have maybe ever seen. all the teams were spread out with 200 left and we were in fourth and everyone came back to finsh within tenths of seconds. ER ended up gettin DQ for infringment

1:41.11. They had 2 kids who doubled 4 by 4 and 4 by 2 and one of the two kids fell in the 4 by 400 and was hurting pretty bad.

Second place was 1:41.13. Third was 1:41.14. ER was in there too but got DQed. The officials zoomed the camera in as far as it would go and still could barely tell who won. It was the race of the night in my mind.

If I remember correctly, they do MVP's for field event and running. So, there will be twice as many MVP's.

I forgot the Mynderse kid won shot too! Good thing they do field and track though. I think field will be between me, you, and Wilson for Class D.

They do count relays because you're part of a winning team. However, if someone has two individual firsts and an individual second, they will get it over two individual firsts and an individual relay. The relays do count into the factoring, just not as much as an individual first.

Yeah, I'm hoping the fact that I did long too will help me out. It all comes down to what the coaches think though.

I think part of the decision factor is how badly you beat your competiton too. Our coach said that a couple years ago a kid from our team won field despite only winning 1 field event which was long jump. He jumped a 20 something and 2nd was an 18 something. Because he won by so much he got MVP.

If it goes to someone besides us 3 I will feel cheated. I can't see anyone else who would deserve it for field events except maybe the BK kid (first high, 4th PV)

Yeah he is a nice kid. He was in the same boat as me last year as far as high jump goes. We both would get 5' 4" at all outdoor meets then we both just took off this year out of nowhere. I remember not being able to get 5' 6" ever and thinking that 5' 4" was the highest I was ever going to jump lol.
